We chose Stoney River Assisted Living & Memory Care for my mom because of the accommodations, the experienced and very educated staff to help the person we're moving in, and the staff's thoughtfulness, care, and friendliness. They are cooperative in making the transition for the individual so easy and caring. We looked at a large bedroom/living room with a galley kitchen, which was very convenient. The bathroom was large and spacious. The walk-in shower was convenient. Everything was clean and repainted as people moved in and out. They are very accommodating to the individuals that are living there. They had numerous libraries in the wing. They had an in-house beauty salon and a barber shop with professionals coming in weekly. There have a large theater, church services, games for the residents, an enormously beautiful nonalcoholic saloon type area, a gorgeous fireplace, and beautiful furniture. It is available to anyone on that wing to secure it if they want their family to come in for a party or get together. They have a beautiful outdoor patio, music every Friday evening for the residents, and raised gardens for activity. Their activity calendar offers like 4 to 6 different things every single day. It's a wonderful place. There was a chalkboard menu by the restaurant-type eating area. The staff eats the same as the residents. There are numerous choices for all of their meals.

My mother-in-law was at Stoney River. It was very a nice and beautiful facility. I know people who are there or have had a loved one there, and they are very happy with that. They have a lot of programs that people can attend. They are attentive to their needs. It was very clean. Everybody did a good job. It's a wonderful facility where people have a real way to continue living and having many of their needs met, like having a place to get their hair done. I also liked that they take them to the clinic and they do a very nice job of being on time.

Stoney River is absolutely beautiful, and caring, kind people work there. They have a relaxation room, they play games like catch and ping pong, and they have activities all the time. They must have monitored the salt in the food, because mother did not get swollen legs there. It is a great facility to put someone and not have to worry about their care.

Stoney River Assisted Living was very nice and great. The rooms were a little bit smaller than what my parents are used to, but other than that, it was a great community with a lot of things going on. The staff seemed like they're OK. I didn't think it would fit into what my parents want because it was nicer than what they are used to. They had exercise going on at the time I was there.

They just opened Stoney River a year ago. It is very nice. They have a lot of activities. They have gym, movie theater, bakery, bar, pool hall, bank, and dining area. The staff seems to be great. My dad likes them a lot. My dad is in like one big room with a small-like kitchen area where there is a small refrigerator, a few cupboard, and a sink. Also there is a really big bathroom attached to it. We have eaten there and it is very good. My dad likes that a lot too. The dining area is just a big area with a lot of tables. They have an activity calendar and they have activities everyday. They take a bus to the Dollar Store. They do Wii bowling, bingo, etc., just a lot of different things. I would recommend this place to others.

I was once in a function in the park and I saw Stoney River Assisted Living. I talked to them and they gave me a pass to tour the place. It looked very good. The people were very nice. I also knew a resident there and he said he loved it there. Too bad I was not able to look at the rooms.
