Winter Green is where my mother resides. They are rude and all about the money. I am being forced to take up residency just to visit when I want. The rent increases every year with the cost of living. The independent senior living is really a RCAC (Residential Care Apartment Complex.) Much different! Buyer beware !!

My friends really like the Wintergreen Apartments. They have many activities, good meals, a place for physical therapy, a gym, and transportation a few times a week for people who are in the independent living. They have different activities throughout the year. The homes are all connected, so you can go from one to the other, and the senior center is located in that complex. They have movies and churches. The place is one of the nicest ones around here.

I just saw a room at Wintergreen. It wasn't finished, but it was very nice. Right now, I've got four serious health issues. If I could work everything out financially, I'd like to move there. I'd like to move south to a more warmer climate. But health-wise, I don't think it's going to work for me.

My mom just moved in to Wintergreen recently. We chose this facility because for my mom, staying in her community area is very important. It is close to where my mom currently lives, as well as her current doctor. So far so good. They offer different levels of care from independent to assisted living. Although I had limited encounter with them, I had a tour of the facility. They are detailed and very prompt. They have different room sizes to choose from based on your budget and your needs. The food is very good.
