After Encore took over things went downhill fast. My mother fell October 6 2021. She was in memory care with dementia. When she fell she was wheelchair bound and 2 person assist. She went to the ER. Broken hip. The fall was unwitnessed so no idea how long she laid there. Still have not received any medical records that we’re requesting. We did not want her to return to facility. We cleaned out her room and discovered many things missing. Even after Kirsten said she couldn’t find the items they refused to pay for everything. Spoke with corporate also. Now my calls and messages are being ignored. I’m not able to post on their Facebook site. Where is the caring and compassion they claim to have.

Do not send your loved ones here, the care is terrible and the management has major turn over. Smells like urine, constant complaints from other families and the residents just sit around all day doing nothing. STAY FAR AWAY!!! They do not deserve 1 star.

I visit the community often and am impressed with the compassion and attention all the staff show to residents. We couldn't of made a better choice for the care of our parent.

My grandfather was a resident from October 2016 Until his death January 2017. My grandmother and I were very impressed with Parkside Manor from our initial visit. It was clean, did not smell and the administrative staff was very caring and compassionate. My grandfather was suffering from CHF and also dementia and Alzheimers but was still very high functioning. As my grandfather became more ill and eventually passed away, the compassion shown to our family and my grandfather was remarkable. Numerous staff came in on their day off to say goodbye to my grandfather when he had less than 24 hours left. After his passing the continued compassion and caring shown to my family was overwhelming. All of the staff were visibly upset at my grandfathers passing. He was also on hospice care during his entire stay and he received excellent care both from staff and hospice. Staff also went out of their way to show compassion for my grandmother and made she she was taken care of also. I cannot say enough about the positive experience my grandfather had with Parkside Manor. My grandfather was able to take care of himself for the most part his entire stay, he could feed, dress and shower himself so staff care for him was minimal just reminder cues, and supervision while showering to prevent falling, and medication dispensing.

It was more like a home versus a facility. The place seemed nice. I would be comfortable with my dad living there. I liked that it seemed clean and open. The had some activities, but I did not pay much attention to them. The people that worked there seemed friendly. They seemed to know what they were doing and cared about the clients.
