A great family owned facility! the care we received was top notch. we could not have asked for a better facility for my mother. We am beyond grateful for the Woodlands!

I was a past resident of Woodlands Senior Park. When you go to visit it and assess it (like if you're interested in living there), it seems nice. There were three different buildings and the food was very good, but nothing stood out for me. It wasn't a friendly type of place, and the staff was very aloof. Unlike in the place where I live now, everybody mixes. Also, they didn't have a swimming pool, and it's in a wooded area. They had a nice walking area. I was there during the pandemic, so they were very limited with their activities. We only had bingo and that was about it. They could improve more on their activities, communication, and the staff.

I went to Woodlands, and I was very pleased with I saw. It's in an outdoor setting, which I think is great. They eat together so the seniors get out of their room, and they do stuff together. I saw them toss a beach ball around the net for their coordination, and I think it's a good program. The people seemed so friendly, the staff was very helpful. They took me around and showed me things.

Woodlands was recommended to me by several nurses and social workers at both the hospital and the rehab facility. I didn't see many staff. It was just mostly the person who was touring me and one or two people that just popped in to asked a question to that individual. The rooms were of decent size and clean. The only thing that I noticed which was very personal to me is that the rooms all seemed very dim. It was not brightly lit. I was shown the activity list, but I didn't see any activities. They need to have brighter, cheerier, and more positive looking place.

We had visited Woodlands. They had a number of different rooms with three different sizes for the assisted living and they were probably the biggest ones that we saw. Everyone seemed very friendly there. It was a homey place.
