Lake View Place, our senior living community, offers compassionate care in a beautiful setting. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time licensed nurse is on call 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Residents in our pet-friendly community can keep up with hobbies or discover new ones; we offer a variety of activities, such as exercise classes, coffee hour, card and board games, bingo, and tai chi. Lake View Place was very warm and welcoming, very homey, and very well-kept. The staff was very nice and the administrator there was very helpful. Eventually, it turned out that they would not be able to take mom there because of some memory problems, so she was very helpful to try and suggest some other places that we could check. So it was a nice tour, it was good. I think her name was Edith. I thought the rooms were a very nice size, and very well kept. Quite a few people were sitting outside in their little porch area. When we came in several of the residents were sitting out and chatting and enjoying each other's company. So it gave the impression that the residents there were all very sociable and connected, which was nice. They were in the process of reroofing, so we were impressed.

Lake View Place is a beautiful facility, but it was not a good fit for my brother-in-law. This place is definitely for a higher class or more professional type retirees. My brother-in-law is very high-end disabled, but you can tell that he is a challenge. I just felt like it was above our reach for a good place for him. The rooms were elegant. Two people gave us a tour, and they're both awesome, friendly, and welcoming. It was like being on a yacht or a cruise ship. You could choose what you wanted from your entrees. It was a very nice place. They do have activities.

My parents are currently residing in Lake View Place. They're very comfortable, and they like it there. They were great helping us get ready and get all signed up. It's working out really well.
The facility is very nice and very clean. Everybody is friendly. Their beauty salon does not have a beautician yet, but now they're getting back into hiring one. They have exercise classes, gardening classes, and painting classes. They also have a doctor on staff so that my parents change from their regular doctor to the doctor on staff there. The doctor sees them every Thursday, which is very nice. Overall, everything is perfect here in so far.
The meal service is interesting in that it's a lot and my parents are just small people. They are very happy with it, but they eat so much.
All is good. My parents were in an accident, so we had to do things fast. This was the only place we looked at, and it worked out really well.

Lake View Place is a very nice facility. It's clean, the staff is very helpful, proactive, and friendly. We're very happy that we found something like that because it actually seems like a home, like an apartment. The apartments are nice and larger than the other places we looked at. My aunt has her own washer and dryer, full-sized refrigerator, and stove. They have a call button for her to wear around her neck, so she's able to call anyone at anytime. The staff is very nice there. I know they have bingo and crochet classes, and they have exercise classes geared towards the elderly. They have a transportation bus that takes the elderly to appointments, and they also take them shopping.

I toured the Lake View Place in Fond Du Lac in person. It looked very warm, welcoming, and nicely run; it was very positive. Everybody that we ran into was extremely helpful, and the room was delightfully clean and adequate. We liked everything about it. Fond Du Lac is a small place, so you can't be far from anything. The nice thing about this place is it's an easy walk to the lake.

My mother has been in Lake View Place for almost three years. Our experience there has been very good. There have been two or three corporate changes, and the quality of the food varies, but overall, it has been very good. The residents are happy to be there, and it is very pleasant. She is living in a two-bedroom apartment and my brother lives in the other bedroom because he is her caregiver and they have a cat. My mother has the things that she needs. She cannot go to a place that does not allow pets. It is a very nice and lovely spot.

Their staff at Lake View was very pleasant. I was introduced to multiple people on the tour, and everyone said "hi" and "glad to see you." They were very positive. As far as the rooms, they were clean, and it seemed very big. It was very bright in that they have big windows. The dining room is of a good size. They have two separate dining rooms: one for senior apartments and the other for the nursing home section. It is a very nice size.
