I had an in-person tour of Arbor View Senior Living. They've recently redone a lot of the rooms. So the particular room that they took me to was just refinished, it was very nice. I was surprised. It was very clean, and it was spacious. It was more like a suite. It had a living area, and then it had a separate room for your bedroom. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. She's been there almost since it opened, so she knew a lot about the facility. They had a salon, and they have activities. They had an activity director that had different things. One thing I didn't like about Arbor View was that they didn't have a nice outside area, but it felt homey.

We went to Arbor View. It's an older building, but the staff was nice, and the administrator was extremely nice and very helpful. They were playing bingo when I went there. They did have an activity room where they're playing bingo, and the dining room as well, and they had a TV room. The dining room was not bad. We've seen a one-bedroom, and a studio as well. The one-bedrooms were spacious, but the studios were smaller. They did have a shuttle bus. It was a decent facility.

We toured Arbor View for my mom. It was a very nice facility, and the staff was very informative. It was a small community. The rooms are small. It's in a nice, quiet, peaceful setting. It butts up to a grade school on the back. There's a nice patio out there for them to sit and watch. It's a very nice country setting. It's got good access. There was a detour to get there, but that's summertime right now, so, you've got detours all over the place. They have small dining rooms, and everybody is scattered all over.

We toured Arbor View Senior Living. We spoke with the woman, and we liked that one the best for our father-in-law. It's very nice. We walked to the memory care. We toured the whole place. It's quiet, kind of country like, and we could have any room we wanted for him. The price is right. The staff was very nice and pleasant. It was very pretty inside and very clean.

The staff is not atttentive to the needs of the residents. My mom was given her meds TWICE when told not to prior to a medical procedure. There is NO security at the door. Anyone can walk right in undetected! When you call, either no one answers or it is a long wait to speak to the person you are wanting to contact. There is no communication to staff members. Really, they can’t carry Wilkie-talkies? If I were looking for a facility to house a family member I’d keep looking!

Arbor View was a very nice but old building. The rooms were so small, and they had a waiting list for the larger rooms. It was outdated, and the furniture was lackluster. It was cold at the entrance, which had two automatic doors. I saw some people in a room exercising.

The facility offers residents independent living options and assisted living. They have nice options of different level of service. The staff was very friendly. And the place is clean and well kept. But I haven't decided yet as to where to put my mom, so we are still looking into other options.

18-20 residents in a unit, small facility, good staff ratio, daily in-house activities, home cooked food. Staff are friendly/accessible to both residents and visitors. Resident mixture of dementia and physical handicaps (they do have a separate unit of 10 for significant dementia). Staff remind residents of activities and meals, assist where necessary, dispense medication, do laundry, showers, daily room straightening, assist resident w/other details of daily living per individual need. My father would like more out-of-facility activity options as he gets tired of being "cooped up"; on the other hand, he has turned a few - think he just wants to know the option is there so he doesn't feel so dependent on me to get him out. Have been a few delays in messages about his health status between shift staff but nothing crucial. Facility is always clean, safe, organized, secure and has a homey feel. No concerns of maltreatment. Most residents there like it, haven't heard any complaints. Staff do not treat residents as patients but rather in caretaker role, take time to joke around and join in activities; staff seem happy working there. I stop in often as the facility is close to my home, never have had a risk concern. Most residents have single rooms and bring in their own furniture so there is not a hospital feel to it (there are a few double rooms for couples). My father has been there 5 months, so far I'm happy with it.
