New Perspective Twin Ports was a beautiful place. Everything we saw were very, very nice, including the rooms and their services. We've been there in the summer when they had picnics and different things that they offer to the community. I was very impressed. The place was absolutely gorgeous. They were doing an outside barbecue and picnic, and that's what we participated in. They had an ice cream social, and they had burgers and different things on the grill. I've seen the assisted living and the memory care. I've only met the director. I haven't met any staff there at all.

My sister is now living at New Perspective Twin Ports. She liked it, and it's close to where I live. It's a real nice place. She's happy with the food. They have music programs, swimming pool, and exercise programs. It's a beautiful building.

I was told that my mother would be treated like family. When The Alzheimer’s was about making it difficult to transfer her the administration kicked her out. My mother died a week later in a facility she did not consider home. Staff was wonderful, the administration was heartless.

New Perspective is a beautiful building. It has a good layout that's very well thought out. They have physical and occupational therapy located inside; it's not part of the community, but if somebody needs it, they can get that help, and they take care of it through your insurance. It's nice that they're located right inside the assisted living. The staff is very friendly. My father-in-law was suspicious when he first moved in with how friendly everybody was, and he's still that way. He's on his second month there now. They're very helpful and very friendly. They have church services, exercise programs, a pool with scheduled times when you can go and work out or do laps, and a men's group on Tuesday mornings. They have coffee and donuts, get-togethers, a pub, and celebrations like a Mardi Gras party where they have different kinds of food and senior groups. They have lots of different activities and do movie nights and in the afternoons with popcorn.
