About This Community

Our Cross Plains home is a CBRF (community-based residential facility) assisted living community that offers a secure, home-like environment for our residents. We are located near medical facilities, shopping, dining and recreational facilities.

Our community provides our residents with a warm, dignified and caring atmosphere by recognizing the special needs of each and every resident. We have experienced staff who provide security and supervision at all times. Our main goal is to assure that each resident is allowed to live life to the fullest based on their own capabilities.

Our Cross Plains community strives to provide care and services in a manner where the resident is encouraged to move toward functional independence in daily living or to continue functioning as independently as possible.

My mother moved to Girlie's Manor and is happy there. She likes that it is in her hometown, so she can maintain her church community and other local friends. She knows some people who live there and likes that it is small and without long hallways because she has a hard time walking. So far, it is absolutely fantastic. They make her feel welcome and are attentive to her health issues. They provide some social opportunities and all three meals and anything that she wants for her snack. The staff is pretty awesome so far. They have a button and come running if she needs something. They offer to put her compression stockings on every morning and wash them out every night. They are giving her particularly good attention. They have a euchre game that she enjoys, prayer service, and Girl Scouts who come and serenade them; she loves children. She can have her hair done there. They have a valentine project starting now.

The staff at Girlie's Manor at Cross Plains were very, very nice to me and they would accept my dog. I saw one bedroom and it is huge. It was more than enough room for a huge TV. You have also your own private bathroom and a little kitchen area, but they also offer meals there. In case you don’t want to eat what they were having, they have this little area and they have a refrigerator. It was just expensive at 3600 a month. I was not able to eat there, but I saw their menu and they look absolutely fantastic. They have a lot of activities and church as well.
