About This Community

At Atrium Senior Living of Black River Falls, senior living is really living, from a News & Views discussion to exercise class, from intergenerational events to juggling lessons. Every private or semi-private suite is fully furnished with its own half bath. And our team members coordinate communication between residents, their families and their doctors.

Pick your place

Atrium apartments are private or shared, modern but homey. Of course climate control, TVs, landline phones and many other amenities are included. Every inch is designed to be safe and convenient, but not obviously so: easy-to-navigate hallways, chairs at the right height, call buttons just in case.

We’ll cook

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks are on the menu in our restaurant-style dining rooms. We cook and eat local (more brats in Wisconsin, more pasta in New Jersey, and produce plucked from our resident gardens).

We’ll clean

Housekeepers thoroughly clean and shine every apartment, and do each resident’s laundry.

Breathe deep

Green space helps people heal faster, so we picnic under the gazebo, dig in garden beds and stroll on the landscaped paths.

Settle in

We offer a true continuum of care on our campus, so if residents need more care at any point, we coordinate with the right experts, right here.

Busy calendars

Our days are full of game tournaments, crafts, shopping trips, family events, volunteer work and much more.

The staff and the facilities were very good from what I could tell, I would be happy to live in this facility if I ever need. I probably only visited only about once a month randomly but my grandmother seemed to be pleased (from what she could remember). Her having Alzheimer's, she would never complain at all. My memories of my grandmother are her ALWAYS complaining or nagging about something. Yet, at Parkside she was content to be there and OK with the other residents. I think that this is a big testament to the staff, although you might argue that the Alzheimer's can have a behavior/attitude change in some people, this was still pretty early on. She was still with it, and still complained about a lot of other things. I don't have too much personal contact with the facility but that is the one thing I do remember and credit about the place: that she was content to be there (a big step)!
