My mom was at Sycamore Lodge Senior Living - Algoma. Location was a factor why we chose it for her. Another thing was they did not require COVID vaccination. They had satisfactory levels of care available. The layout of the facility was smaller (maybe less than 20 residents). The physical appearance had some level of appeal. They had some activities, and it was clean. Staff, of course, can be a big challenge in assisted living and other care facilities, but they were adequately staffed. They're welcoming and attentive. We just had a very positive experience with the facility.
