My mother is in Fieldstone Memory Care of Wenatchee. My sister said that they seem to be doing a really good job. She's very pleased with Fieldstone. I just visited there one time and that was it when I was up there. She's in memory care, and someone has to help mom do absolutely everything. They have a movie theater, a nice big open area in the middle with grass you can walk around, and a nice area where people can get outside and be safe. I think you had to have somebody come in if they're going to style your hair. Her room is pretty small. They might have had some single rooms, but I believe most of the rooms were for two occupants. When we moved her in, she didn't have anybody else in her room. The place was clean and well kept. The staff is just over the top remarkable, helping us do things to see my mom. They bent over backward for us. I couldn't say more about how happy we were with them. Maggie was the manager there and she just went overboard. We got to meet other people that take care of them. They hire these young people and they'd say, "We love your mom. She's so sweet." Instead of a bunch of old people taking care of old people, these were young people that were doing that. They had these two big guys that seemed pretty young, too. They're the ones that helped move the people and all that kind of stuff. They just love these old people. You could just tell. They had a COVID lockdown when we were there, and we were not going to be able to see mom and Maggie helped us figure out a way that we could see my mom and say goodbye because we flew from Colorado to see her. She kind of bent over backward to let that happen. The staff was A++. I'm very pleased. I did talk to my sister yesterday and she kind of mentioned the food's not great. She mentioned that they brought some food in for her and it was broccoli and pasta with peas, and they put gravy over everything. They put gravy on the broccoli. We thought that was kind of weird. They've got one of those websites which you can go on and see pictures of my mom. They'll tell her what she did that day, they had aromatherapy, and people come and do music. They're getting her out of her room and letting her get around and do things instead of just sitting in her room.
