We already found a home for my parent. It is Washington Old Fellows Home. We chose this place because it is a good community and because it was recommended by others. Also, the price was good and he needed a skilled nursing care that isn't available in assisted living. They do have assisted living, skilled nursing, and apartments. The facility is well landscaped; it is a nice area. My parent has been there for six weeks, but overall our experience with them has all been good. The room is nice. It is a small double room. They have a lot of activities. They have exercise and crafts, but I don't know if he can really get into that.
