The people here at Vancouver Pointe are all very wonderful and helpful. It's a very happy place. I have a one-bedroom apartment with a small shower and a kitchen that is larger than I need. The dining area is very open. It is immediately off a bistro, and it is quite comfortable. There are some tables for two and some for four. It seems to work out quite well, and it is like a restaurant. They have service at the tables, and the food has been quite good.
The facility is built around a nice little courtyard, which is very pretty. It is the only garden-like area close by, since it is in a very residential area. There's lots of activities. There's a social hour every Friday usually with a wine bar, and then entertainment on Friday afternoons. There are several games that can be played. Some are a little more physical like Wii bowling. There are also card games, domino games, bingo, and various other games that are available almost every day. We have a program currently called TED Talks where someone presents free linked videos. Then we discuss what we've seen, which is a bit of brain work. There's an arts and crafts program, too. Various residents have groups of people that get together and play Pinnacle and Mexican train.
There is transportation for medical appointments and shopping. In addition to that, every so often they will offer a trip somewhere. I think this week there will be a trip to the casino. Usually every week or two weeks there is some kind of little excursion that one can go to on our commercial sized bus.

Vancouver Pointe is excellent. We have a great chef here and good food. We have wonderful activity directors that keep us busy and on our toes. I live in one of the cottages on the perimeter of the main building, and it's just of excellent quality. The staff is exceptional, too. It's expensive to live here, but we're paying for what we get, and we get a lot of service.

I've been here at Vancouver Pointe since December, and so far, senior living has been a little bit of help to me. The staff was excellent. My room was completely refinished before I moved in. I can just go to the dining area anytime I want, and order some food in the kitchen. They always have three choices for every meal, too, and you can request something that they don't have on the menu. It's nice, because all your meals are included in your rent as well, so you don't pay anything for the food.
There is an exercise room and a movie theater. The second day I was here, the girl who was in charge of sales discovered that my TV was damaged. I was going through Christmas week by myself, and there was no entertainment at all. So, she took me to Costco and helped me get my seventy-inch TV.

Has the potential to be really good. Food prep staff is in need of leadership and training. Much of their work is sub-par.
Staff is very good and residents have enjoyed a good lifestyle. Activities are frequent and creative. Currently under Coronavirus shutdown so not sure how things will be as we try to come back to normal.
Need to pay more attention to landscaping, exterior and interior maintenance.
Nice grounds, patio, and neighborhood. Good location close to most everything you would need. Most apartments are spacious and comfy.

Vancouver Pointe was my favorite out of the places I looked. The dining room was livelier and had more of a vibe to it. The food was very good, but I didn't like the dessert at all. It was very nice, and I don't have any complaints. I was impressed. Everybody was very nice.

My parents toured and then moved in to Vancouver Pointe after the remodel and new Manager came board, due to all the wonderful changes she has made. They looked at the place prior to the new manager and it wasn't as great. Now it is fanatic. This new Manager has changed this community to a EXCELLENT community! My parents are so happy to live there. Food is great, restaurant quality, great service, great manager and employees. My parents feel spoiled from the day they moved in and want to stay for every.

We lived at The Courtyard before, and then we came back over because our family is here and found out that they had changed management, and it is so much better than it was before. They sold it, and there’s new people. We lived here for a year and a half and we weren’t satisfied with it. Now, they’re remodeling it and painted it. There’s more activities. They have a restaurant; you could just eat whatever you want, and it was very good food.

When I was at The Courtyard Village they had a really wonderful manager, but three months later the new manager came in and she changed all the rules. The room in this facility is absolutely great. It's new, it's spacious, well ventilated. The temperature is always right. They never had heating problems. The food was great until the cook quit. They had wonderful activities. They go to different restaurants, museums, casinos, and also to concerts. They also play different games.

The Courtyard Village is a very nice place. It seems to be well kept. Mom is in a spacious 1-bedroom apartment. She has weekly housekeeping. They do some day trips and they have a bus to go to shops and casinos. The overall demeanor of the staff is very pleasant.
