I stayed at Cogir at The Quarry for about six months. It was excellent. The staff was excellent, and the caregivers were really great. The food was good. Everything was good there. I had to have someone help me with my bathing and stuff. I had a studio, and it was much smaller. I had a hospital bed and a bathroom. For what I was doing, it was fine. Then I progressed to the point where I needed to get out of there. They had a pool. They had a gymnasium, but there wasn't quite as much equipment there as the other place. They had a salon, and they had a gal that cut hair. The access to the grounds was easy. They had nice grounds there and a nice garden area. Everything about it was great. Their physical therapist on-staff was great. I used the exercise room as part of my rehab, and that was good as well.

We toured The Quarry Senior Living and will be moving in there soon. They were very forthcoming on our visit and we had a wonderful meal. The food was excellent and they had many choices. The apartment is exactly what we were looking for and we have all the literature on what they have to offer that was appealing to us. The apartment is very bright with nice views, it's a good size, and meets our needs. They have a very friendly staff with good information and gave us a very nice tour. It was the most preferred location of any of the places we've seen too. The others did not have the same feeling, as far as being more rural, versus looking more commercial in location. It had everything that we wanted.

The Quarry Senior Living is excellent. The prices are high, but you're paying for what you're getting. I couldn't find anything wrong with it and I wouldn't mind going there myself; that's how nice it was but they're like $4200 a month. They're outstanding and they have everything. Everything is based on a point system so you can have as little or as much care as you want. They can aspirate you, vacuum your room, they can go in, and put on your compression stockings. They have a swimming pool, a café, buses that go wherever you want to go like the Walmart of the mall. They have tons of amenities like that, they have tours, and they seem to be strong in their COVID stuff. They have a lot to offer. The staff is very friendly and invited us back for lunch and they also don't hound you. They sent me a text once asking for my information and I said not this time, and they asked if they can contact me after 3 months, and I said yes, and that's all that it was. No asking me every week. The place was gorgeous and clean. They have a cafeteria but I just went to their café and we had milkshakes. It was wonderful.

The Quarry loves their independent living residents, but those that require more care, not so much. Look at the Facebook posts, activities are focused on independent living and employees, not the residents with higher level of needs. I was paying for her care, not parties! 3 caregivers for 29 residents was not adequate. Call buttons often weren’t answered for 30 minutes, but they’ll tell you their average is 5 minutes. If your loved one requires a high level of care, this is NOT the place, look at a smaller place, the bells and whistles mean nothing if there isn’t good care when our loved ones need it most. Also, if you have a family member there, make sure someone is available to check on them regularly - I can’t imagine how it would have looked if I wasn’t a frequent visitor. I had to do laundry, wash dishes, clean the toilet, brush Mom’s hair, cut her nails, and make sure she was decently dressed EVERY time I visited, none of these are things they worry about.

We looked at The Quarry Senior Living. They went through all the A to Z with us, like what is available and what they can do, and we visited the apartments my mother could be in. It was really a nice place. The rooms were very roomy, about 500-600 square feet of living space, with their own bathrooms. It was very doable with very nice facilities. They have a weight room, they have places where people can read and do crafts, and there's a small gym, and swimming pool.

The Quarry Senior Living is our place of choice when the day comes. It?s beautiful. The rooms were sparkling clean and nicer than anything that we?d ever looked at. The grounds were much better; the staff was very professional. They had a very nice ambience. It was just upscale. None of the places that we looked at comparatively were even close.

My husband has already moved into The Quarry, and they are outstanding. They are kind of specialized in Parkinson’s disease, so they have a lot of care for Parkinson’s, a lot of classes, support groups, and all that. He has a nice one-bedroom apartment on the main floor that has a little patio outside, so when I take the dog over, the dog can visit. The food is very good.

I’m living at The Quarry. It is a very high-end place. The community has independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The food is excellent sometimes, not every day, but mostly, it is very good. I’ve been here for four years. We have exercise classes and something to do inside and outside the building every single day, so you have very good options.

The Quarry Assisted Living was very nice but expensive. It was clean, professional, and had a lot to offer. As a matter of fact, I am on a waitlist. They had a pool, exercise equipment, a theater, card rooms, and a coffee shop. The food is very good. The room is large and well appointed. It's really very nice. They had all kinds of activities, like people coming in to entertain once a week and trips. The staff was very helpful, professional, and easy to please.

I am in an assisted facility right now. I think I am going to stay here for a while. There were a number of reasons why I chose The Quarry, but mainly because it was highly recommended. The staff is good, and the rooms are good. I have a two-bedroom unit. They have a wide variety of activities.

We looked at The Quarry Senior Living, and it was very nice, but it was smack down in the middle of a congested area. When you opened the window and looked out, all you could see were other buildings. There was only one person that we were seeing, and that was a lady in the sales group or whatever you called it, and she was very nice. A man was moving out of the room that we would have been interested in if it was not in that location. However, it was a very nice place. We had lunch there, and the food was excellent. It was very good and well prepared. I don't know what activities they had, but they had a room where people could go in and play cards or whatever they wanted to. Some people might like being right in the middle of a big shopping area, but we do not.

I have seen several facilities and one of them was The Quarry Senior Living. The staff were very helpful and in fact they took me there by car. They came and picked me up and took me there and that was very nice. They had all kinds of activities, but I am going back there to see more of the facility. It's really a huge place.

I have spent my entire adult life in the health care field, and was an emergency medical dispatcher for over 8 years, so I and my family are far more knowledgeable consumers than most. Both of my parents have lived at The Quarry for four years, starting out in independent living, then assisted living as needs warranted, and now in memory care and the enhanced unit. This is the best facility I have ever run across. The staff make certain, in spite of their now being in separate units, that my parents get to spend lots of time together. They have bus outings twice a week, a full service salon, outstanding food that families can join their loved ones to eat (we do frequently), tons of fun activities that families are always invited to, and staff that honestly cares about the residents and their families. Our family could not be happier with this facility, and we are there visiting multiple times a week. They listen to us, and go out of their way to meet the personal needs of every resident, while still respecting their need to be themselves. I would recommend the Quarry to anyone looking for secure, quality care for a loved one at any stage of need. In fact, our retired doctor visited and he and his family were so impressed that he moved in too, and now loves it there. The Quarry will not disappoint on any level.

Great facility for independent living with costs on the high end of the comparitable residences in the area. 4% increase in Jan 2012 with short notice given to residents of just months as well those of several years residence in a nation wide poor economic climate. Assisted living does not provide adequate support by qualified care givers which amounted to neglect and deterioration of the resident's health and well being. This was witnessed several times, addressed but nothing changed except the charges for extra care that was needed but not given. The resident has been moved to a new facility and is thriving with proper care.

The facility looks lovely, requires you to wait for door to be opened, in evening that could take a few minutes sometimes 5 or more. Employees are cheerful and outgoing. Menu choices have been changed to include more starches, but tastes good. My grandmother was a resident here. What I loved about this place was the interaction my grandmother had with staff and other residents. Everyone was so kind and compassionate to each and every person they came across. The rooms that the residents live in are quite spacious and are very uniquely designed. They have a modern yet classical touch to them and have easily accessible amenities within the room, including an intercom system that connects to various departments within the assisted living facility. The place is really amazing and seniors are always happy there. The view is impeccable as you can see the flowers, plants are gorgeous greenery. The main dining hall is reminiscent of a grand dining restaurant. I think The Quarry Assisted Living is a fantastic place to stay, and I know that my grandma had enjoyed her time spent there.
