I've been living in Life Manor Independent Living for a couple of years now. They don't have a lot of amenities. They have a community room. They have puzzles and bingo night, and they have a walking group. In the community room, you could get coffee or play puzzles. There are different things to do in the community room. They have a lot of flowers, benches, and a beautiful rose garden. They have a separate smoking area. They have covered parking that you could get for extra fee. It is nice. It is not furnished, but they do have a small refrigerator. It is a little kitchen, but it's sufficient. There is a stove and an oven. There is a washing machine/ laundry room downstairs. It's seven stories, and everybody has their own storage locker. It is affordable. I like it. The staff is nice. I like them. They work with you. They have another building for assisted living, and they offer meals there. It is an older building, but it is maintained. They could probably clean the windows outside, but overall it is clean. There's no urine smell or disinfectant smell. They had more things before COVID, and they are just slowly getting it back together again.

I'm looking to move to Life Manor Independent Living. The apartments were very nice, especially the ones in the newer building. They take care of all your expenses for you. One thing that I was looking for was a walk-in shower, and in that building, they all have that particular amenity. I've been back there a couple of times now for various things, and I'm really looking forward to being with a group of people rather than just living in a home by myself. There were two staff people who helped me, the manager and one of their handymen took me around. He was very nice, and we have some common things. The dining area looked really beautiful. It's downstairs in the same space where you talk to the office people. I could see that it was very open and bright. It will be cool, especially in the wintertime when it gets dark and dreary in Seattle. All that light is going to help. They told me that they have trips out to other places besides the living quarters. They have activities and exercises, and someone goes there once a week for haircutting and that sort of thing.

I completed the tour at Life Manor Independent Living. It was nice. I enjoyed it. It was great. It was very clean. I was toured by one of the staff. She was great. She answered a lot of questions. She was very patient, and she showed me a few different units. The facility was very well kept. They have on staff who make lots of plans or lots of different things. They were getting ready to have a hotdog social for Father's Day. They had shuttles that take you to Walmart and do that kind of stuff on certain days. They had an event planner that was on site. The units that I saw were nice and spacious.

I looked at Life Manor Independent Living but their studio apartment was way too small and their buy-in is $1,000. The place was pretty new while most of the other places are old. The staff that accommodated me was very informative. The food was only offered if you are in assisted living. They have a lot to offer as far as food, cleaning the apartment, and a courtyard. The location is good because it's close to shopping and banks, and they also provide transportation. It was very clean, more so than your average.

I toured Life Manor and I think it was very good. I spoke with the assistant manager, and she gave me a tour and it was very nice. I only looked at the studios, which is what I'm interested in. They have two different buildings. One building is just, I guess, a rental place, and you don't get anything other than your room. And the second place has meals and services provided. That's the place that I'm going to choose. They had a few activities scheduled throughout the month, like outings. I think they're adequate. They had a lobby where you could meet. The place was very clean, and the rooms were very nice. They have a brunch, and then an evening meal. They only serve two meals a day, which is adequate. I was invited to have brunch with them, and it was very good. It was a lot better than where I'm living. Life Manor is very reasonably priced. I'm surprised about that.

Life Manor Independent Living was affordable. The facility was very clean. The one thing I didn't like was that the laundry room was on the first floor. They have a stove and a refrigerator, but there was no dishwasher. Everything was good. They have a library and a courtyard with tables and chairs.

We toured Life Manor Independent Living and my mom liked it a lot. The office personnel was very warm, very welcoming, and very patient with all of our questions. They are very accommodating. My mom had a couple of issues. She is allergic to carpet fibers so they agreed that when a unit comes up, they will put vinyl flooring down. We got to view one of the units. It was average, I think there's about 550 square foot 1-bedroom, and that's pretty standard. It had a kitchenette with a stove and a refrigerator. It didn't have a washer and dryer in the unit, which is kind of bad. It also didn't have a dishwasher. They had a nice area where people could do their own gardening and grow flowers or vegetables. We noticed that some residents were kind of visiting each other in the hallways. They were sitting and just talking. People there seemed pretty friendly. A couple of times a week, they offer rides to the grocery stores for some general shopping and groceries.

We visited Life Manor. The two-bedrooms were smaller than in other places, but they were very clean. It was quaint. The eating area was not as large, but it was very nice. The person who helped us was very good. The community was fine; it just didn't have the amenities that the others have. They had the food downstairs, and they had a little meeting area.

I've already chosen Life Manor Independent Living, but I just haven't moved in yet. They're great, it looks great to move into, and it is exactly kind of what I'm looking for. It's in between three hospitals and walking distance to Wal-Mart and Target. The staff was very, very good, her name is Holly, and she was wonderful. The room was small, but they also have three meals a day there. I don't need a big kitchen; I just need enough for me and my dogs. It's big enough for us. I'm in a secure area and a secure building. I feel safe there and I feel very comfortable. I didn't pay much attention to any of the activities right now because I just want to get settled in first and then I'll start looking for activities and stuff. From what I understand, there's a lot of fun and there's a church right there. So, I'm looking for that too. It is part of a church and a Christian school, so it's great. The perfect location. They have a laundromat out of a community room, a TV room, and there's other stuff that they do that they have. It's right next to a park as well, perfect for my little dog. It's perfect for my budget, too, because I am on disability.

Life Manor Independent Living was alright but I didn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling about it. The apartment's layout was pretty good, they had a nice walk-in closet and there was a microwave and a little fridge. I think they offer meals too. We saw a 2-bedroom, a 1-bedroom, and a studio apartment. I think they also do light housekeeping. There was no outdoor space, that's one of the things we didn't like about the place. There wasn't even parking for people who visited, you had to go park out in the street. It looked over a football field or a soccer field because the Christian Academy is right next door, so they'd be looking over kids playing soccer. Other places have the medallion thing for safety where they could press it if something happens, they don't have that. The apartment was nice looking but when you look outside, it just did not appeal to us.

I visited Life Manor Independent Living, and for the amount of money that you pay, I don't think it's worth it. The size of the apartments was small, and it was just a studio, so it didn't fit me. As far as the person I dealt with, she was fine. They have a dining room, different card rooms, and other rooms. I believe the facility was well maintained, too. They didn't have any activities at the time because of COVID.

I moved in to Life Manor, and I liked the price because it was more suitable for my limited budget. The staff seemed very efficient, and so far they've been very friendly. They don't serve meals, but they do have a shuttle for shopping. I'm very comfortable here, and I have a small studio apartment which is the only space I need.

I opted for Life Manor Independent Living for my mom because it was inexpensive and a nice facility. They also served one meal a day which was unusual for an independent living facility. She had a studio apartment which I liked very much. They had social events and organized activities everyday so there was a lot of stimulation for the seniors. They also took the residents to the grocery store twice a week. One area that they need to improve is their dining room because their meals were prepared at the assisted living area and brought to the independent living area.
