The people that work at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation (Spokane) are great. My dad's room is adequate and they keep it very clean. There's someone that's cleaning consistently throughout the days that he's there. I understand that they need to have a balanced diet, but the food could use some improvement.

We liked the fact that Manor Care Health Services - Spokane has a medical director at least three days a week, and an ARNP all day, every day in the skilled nursing facility. They have registered nurses that dispense all of the meds, and so my mom gets her meds on time. The nurse practitioner is an advocate for her residents and in the facility. So, we're pleased. My mom said the food was good, too, and the value of the money seemed reasonable.

My oldest brother who was 59 that just was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor was sent there after the hospital stay. You could not talk to anyone when you called. Social services would not call you back. Personal care for my brother was awful. The last time I flew in I called and spoke to the nurse who stated he was fine. I walked in to see my brother in resp distress, filthy and was told he was not medicated. My brother was dying, alone. He was then transferred to Hospice house. Do Not sent your loved ones there. They even knew I was a nurse for over 20 YEARS and it didn't phase them. They also tried to get more money for private pay that was actually owed to them. They should close the place down. Heartbroken for my brother.

I was sent here for aftercare from surgery, other than physical therapy the care was minimal, I was told that physical therapy would determine my release date, I was not informed that after 20 days my insurance coverage lapsed, after my caseworker inquired I was told that “we screwed up” now I have a $5100.00 bill to pay when I could have gone home...I am now in the process of trying to find out how to get this bill taken care of. I would have much rather been at home
