Very wonderful place to rehab. My wife and I read poor reviews and having such fear our elderly father won’t receive the care we desire for him we were very jaded my dad wouldn’t get the care he needed. We were wrong, this facility more the other patients and employees were all so respectful and supportive. We felt so much love and compassion, we came to support our dad and ended up with other patients as friends and staff members we idolize at how great they do their jobs and include us in dads recovery. I am very awestruck at everyone at Good Samaritan Society - Spokane Valley. Many many stars to all of them. Thank You so much.

My father-in-law will be moving into Good Samaritan Society by the end of August. He chose it because they're adequate for what he needs, they have the services he needs, and the cost was what he could afford. They have barbecues, Wii bowling, Bingo, and shuttles to the grocery store and other appointments. I've heard from many people that the care is great. It's not as gorgeous as some of the other places and it's older, but it's not as expensive. The grounds are nice and they have cottages or duplexes that are very pretty.

Good Samaritan Society is the only place we visited and is where we are going to sign up. It has cottages, and you can move from there to an apartment with assistance, if you need it, and then full care. It is all there in one place. The cottages are like duplexes and are about 1400 sq. ft. each. They have two bedrooms, two baths, and are quite spacious. They maintain the landscaping, so it looks really good. The buildings are in really good shape. It is kind of upscale. They have a club house, an activity room, and take care of utilities and anything that happens inside the unit. I know they give you membership at the YMCA and will bus you there and to different events around town.

Good Samaritan’s prices were lower than the others. When I visited, they were under construction. I wasn’t overwhelmingly impressed with it. I thought they were doing an adequate job, though. It’s a big place, but it looks more institutionalized and not as attractive as the other places.

The setting at Good Samaritan Society - Spokane Valley is really nice. I just dropped by and did not make an appointment but the gal who assisted me was really nice. It just appeared that they were understaffed.

The worker to resident ration seemed appropriate. There were many friendly staffers, many of whom knew my relative by name, and knew who were relatives of him when we visited. This facility had a very personable atmosphere where the residents could get together for scheduled events and field trips.
