We had an in-person tour of Ashley Pointe. The facility is clean. It's a small facility, so it would be good for someone that wants to be in a smaller group setting. The rooms are a little bit on the small and dark side. The staff members were very helpful and great. They had a computer room in which the residents could play games, and it was interactive.

Ashley Point is wonderful. The caretakers are fantastic, hard working & cheerful. The home is very clean and decorated so nicely. Food is great! A lot of activities inside & bus for lots of outings. I cannot say enough good things about Ashley Point.

My mom needed to move into assisted living after she fell and broke her hip. This was definitely not something she wanted to do because she had always been so independent and was healthy for her age. But, she decided on Ashley Pointe after seeing it. My husband and I have found the staff there to be wonderful and caring. They are excellent about contacting me when there is something I need to be made aware of. Even the senior staff makes themselves very approachable to discuss things with. We feel very happy to have found Ashley Pointe. She feels safe and very cared for.

We had the occasion to put my Mother in law in the care of Ashley point last June due to health reasons. She was in need of more care than my sister in law and us could give her. Nancy was very skeptical and unsure of what she was heading into, a nursing home to be forgotten about and not happy. After living in Ashley point for a while she has become part of the community and is enjoying herself, with many functions that she was not afforded at her previous place and many people to talk to during the day. Not a nursing home but a place to live. She still is a little melancholy for her old home with a daughter, one of her grandsons his wife and two great grandsons but with a staff like Ashley point they have made her feel very welcome. Ashley point is much more set up to take care of Nancy's special medical needs, along with a proper diet from a very clean dining room. Thank you Ashley point and all the staff for all your help. We are looking forward to the continued service.

I cant say enough positive things about this facility. My Dad has been at Ashley pointe for 3 years and has been very happy here. Recently he was hospitalized for over a month and had to have a g tube put in. I wasn't sure if he would be able to return to Ashley pointe because of all the care and feedings but Loretta and Stephanie went above and beyond to secure him a spot back at his home. Ever since they have a new director Loretta the place has changed with loving care and positive attitudes her staff is awesome

Ashley Pointe was a newer place, and it was a very large property. During our visit, there was a bazaar, and it was very busy. Everybody was very friendly. We ate there, but the dining room was full. The residents already had their own little groups that they were with, but they were still friendly. One lady talked to my mom, and she was really nice. They had three types of rooms. One room was just a room. The studio had a wall between the bed and the living space, but it wasn't closed off. And then the apartments. Aside from those, they also had senior houses or cottages which had two bedrooms. The rooms were like hotel suites; they were really big. None of the rooms had a kitchen, only the cottages. The rooms had kitchenettes with toasters, coffee makers, and other things, but it was not a full-blown kitchen. I loved the bathrooms. Everybody had a walk-in shower with a built-in chair. It was very thoughtful of them and very appropriate for the people that lived there. There was bingo, outings, and some other activities. Of course, it was more expensive. And also, it seemed like they didn't have enough staff. But what I really liked was the lady who showed us around, because she was very knowledgeable and she knew what was going on. She also recommended other properties that were not as expensive but were also good. I would recommend this place to other people.

The one thing we didn't like about Ashley Pointe is that you go for your meals in the main building and there's a gravel driveway and my husband uses a walker and that would have been difficult and you have to go out in the rain for your meals. They have 2 bedroom duplexes and they're very nice. The rooms are roomy and there is a detached garage which we liked a lot.
