Had dinner with two couples that live there.
Found out that lot of activities for residents.
Did not see any rooms.
Staff was primarily those surving tables that we saw.

Looks like a nice place. Had a rough time connecting with the community relations person so just went over on our own.

I have lived at Ida Culver Broadview for one year
My husband and I moved into Ida Culver one year ago. We agreed that we had made an excellent choice. He and I are quite different from each other. My husband formerly was a principal, and he appreciated the efficient way that Ida Culver is run, along with enjoying how personable and caring the staff is. He has since passed on, and I am grateful that I was able to get comfortable with the facility and with other residents and the staff before he died.
I absolutely love not having to cook or clean! Eliminating these chores has given me time to read and to participate in the many interesting activities. My favorites are presentations by University of Washington staff members, daily exercise, bridge, choir, and crafts.
Staff members genuinely care about us. I am constantly amazed at the variety of talents they have such as dramatics, musical instruments, computer skills, vocal groups, crafts.

The facility and grounds are well maintained, clean and comfortable. My friend says the meals are very good. There are several areas where we can visit in a small group and a variety of activities for my friend to enjoy if she chooses to do so.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Took the time we needed and answered all of our questions. Very enjoyable. Rooms are very nice and well thought out. The grounds are superb. Pam and Jennifer were extremely welcoming and easy to be around.

My wife & I were grateful for Pam & the newer woman showing us around yesterday. They answered all our questions with helpfulness & humor. They understood when I needed to sit down while my wife took the rest of the tour. Our financial questions were fully responded to & thoroughly explained. My wife & I were pleased to know the differences of different types of elder care centers.
For us the cottages were spacious while the floor plan of the 2 bedrooms unit on Greenwood Ave was sub par.
This morning we realized we didn’t see the assisted living center - nor did we ask to see it.
I wanted to eat & find out how the food was & couldn’t as I didn’t have a reservation. This is a very important aspect of anyone staying at a place. If you could manage it, Pam or your Community Liaison person having the option of taking someone for a meal spontaneously after a tour would be very helpful.

Was there to have dinner with a resident & friends in the Fireside lounge. Nice set up for a group & staff to serve meals.

What a welcome! Mom’s first day as a resident began with a cheery ´Welcome Home’ from the lovely folks at reception - Paolo and Cheri. Soon after, Gerson met us at the cottage with a warm welcome and helped with move-in details. As we explored the facilities and gorgeous grounds, staff and residents took time to ´show us the ropes’ and chat. A fabulous first day !

Mom needs her sink faucet sprayer fix in kitchen sink. She has mentioned it before.
Her unit is perfect for her and she enjoys lunch and dinner with friends. You gardens are beautiful!

The parking is a nightmare. I was bringing groceries to my aunt and I had to park a few blocks away away, that’s a long way to walk with a couple bags of groceries or more.
Rooms are great the staff is very friendly and the place is very clean

My father moved into Ida Culver House Broadview. Everything was great as far as the physical appearance of the community. One thing that was really important to my dad was the idea of being able to go to someplace where he'd be able to do his things independently. It is extremely important to us, so that was a big part of our decision. They've got a bit of a waiting list, so that's kind of a disadvantage. They have smaller studios, which was what my dad got initially. They have three types of one-bedroom units that seem to be a little larger than the one-bedroom units we saw at some other places, and then they've got a two-bedroom unit. My dad has his own outdoor patio, so he can sit outside, which was very nice.
They go to the symphony, and they all do walking groups. They have a very small fitness area and a small pool. The people that I interacted with were very nice. The staff was very honest and forthright. The upkeep and cleanliness were very good. It's not the newest building, so things are a little bit worn out compared to some other places, but it was clean. What they offer is not cheap, but I think it's probably on par with other areas.

My parents are in Ida Culver House Broadview. They offer dining, all sorts of activities, but they're scaled back right now. Their food is excellent, the facility is beautiful, but it's very expensive.

My mom lives at Ida Culver House Broadview, and I've been impressed with it. The environment is well appointed, comfortable, and they have good staffing. It's a nice experience. They have a ton of activities. They've got a dining room, a library, an activity center, a pool, exercise classes, field trips, and social events. They have one dining room that they do three meals a day, and they have table service.
