Resident got pneumonia, bed sources and a urinary tract infection here
took on average over a hour to get call light answered. when calling to contact said resident it took over 5 calls to reach the resident if at all that day and after 2 100 mile round trips to retrieve the residents effects they're still lost in the facility

Great community. Went to Judson Park in the past and this place is far better.

Overall good place for my Dad and he really like the rehab. Not the Ritz but had good staff that took care of him. The doctor and nurse practitioner are in the building if you need anything. Will return if he ever needs a rehab place again. Only issue was the lack of parking.

If you are reading this to determine if you should place your love one in this facility, I caution you NOT too. In May 2018 we placed our mother who had a heart attack, fell and broke a bone in her neck, followed by a stroke, and was subsequently paralyzed on her right side. During her stay she was moved 3 times, one move to the 3rd floor which is basically the mentally deranged, which mom was not....by some stroke of luck she was moved back to the second floor. For the most part the CNA's were very kind to my mother and she made friends with several of them....but the MEDICAL, NURSING AND DOCTORS are the worst. Over Labor Day week-end we noticed mom was not doing well and asked for medical attention....for 2 days we asked and all we got was "she has the flu" until the 3rd day our family insisted they call 911 and unfortunately, it was too late....mom was suffering from an infected gall bladder that went septic and she passed in the hospital with 12 hours....A doctor was on site at Stafford the morning after Labor Day and refused to see our mom because she was a long term patient....and according to them she only had the flu....again, if you place a loved one there you will receive very very poor medical attention....and the food is TERRIBLE.....

My mother is at Stafford Healthcare. They're suggesting that they change her to a different floor, which I'm not happy with because it has all the dementia residents, and it's not a very pleasant atmosphere to be in. Where she is now, it's working out just great, but they're having staffing issues. She started out in a private room prior to her being accepted for Medicaid payment. We moved her to a semi-private room where she'd have a roommate and that was very affordable. The residents on the floor where she's at seem to be fine. I feel very good about Stafford. Their help is very good, but the food isn't that great. They bring in entertainment, they have movies, bingo, and a bus that takes them outside the facility. She gets physical therapy and there's a nurse on-staff that she has access to.

I visited Stafford. The place looked fine, but that care was not that good.

Although many of the lesser paid employees treated me well, attended to my needs and tried to help me during my stay, that is not enough. Registered nurses that give the WRONG medication, wrong doses, even someone else's medication...I could go on about this. If you have a relative or even yourself that must go to a care center after a hospital stay, please be sure to check on them on a DAILY basis. Do not come at the same time each day, rather surprise visits are always the best. Check out not only what they are being served as a meal, but whether or not you would eat it yourself. If they are able to eat in the Rose Room, fine, as the food there was good. Find out if you can check their medications that they are being given. I wish I would have had my spouse check for me, because they would have a hard time refuting someone from the outside checking for me. Please be diligent in keeping a watchful eye on your loved ones, as sometimes a mistake in medication can very easily cost someone their very life.
