My father is moving in at Covenant Living at the Shores tomorrow. They have been wonderful. We have several family members and friends who have lived there for a few years. My dad is joining them, so we're happy.
It's beautiful. It's on the lake. He is moving into a lakeview apartment with full care options, which is everything from assisted living to hospice. So, we're hoping this is the last move for him.
His apartment is beautiful. They completely remodeled it with new carpet, new appliances, and new paint. The food is very good. My father is very excited to just be cooked for, so he doesn't have to cook himself. He said the food is very good, and that's what he's looking forward to most. They have a separate lodge with the dining room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
They have a beautiful workout room with a view of the lake. They have music programs. They have committees. You can join a committee and have a voice in the activities and the community. I think there's over 300 residents, and there's always something going on all the time.
They have a program that if you run out of funds, they will let you stay there. They have a scholarship program that you can stay there till the end of your life. You do pay upfront, but then you get a percentage back. It's expensive, but it's absolutely worth it. He can stay there indefinitely.
