About This Community

For three generations, we have provided excellent service and care for seniors. We recognize the true foundation of a home starts with the community of people residing there—living, learning and growing together. We go beyond providing practical care and support—we create a village that feels like family.

Independent living offers both freedom and peace of mind for active residents who want to live a maintenance-free lifestyle. Residents enjoy a variety of amenities that alleviate the stresses of everyday life such as cooking, housekeeping, home repairs and much more. Along with planned events and social opportunities, residents can maintain their independence while living in an affordable, comfortable community.

Assisted living offers long-term, personalized care and daily support services. From housekeeping to personal hygiene, meals and assistance with activities of daily living, we are committed to helping our residents live as independently as possible, while doing our part to make sure they are happy and healthy. Residents enjoy an enriched lifestyle with many opportunities for social engagement, while their families find peace of mind knowing that their loved one is well cared for.

Country Meadow Village was really nice. I really liked it. The only problem with it was that it was a little too far. Also, it had birch trees, and my husband is allergic to birch trees. I really liked the people there. The clients were excited to have new people coming. The lady that greeted me was very nice. They had a little museum in there, so you could revisit the past. They had wonderful vaulted ceilings, and they had really nice areas for gatherings, like the dining room. There was a little place close to the front desk, and the residents seemed to enjoy gathering there. That way they could meet new people. There was a nice little library. They had a decorator that did a wonderful job. Every holiday is very important and they put up an array of decorations that cheer the residents. The rooms were good. I really didn't find a flaw, and they had good outdoor areas and people could do their own gardening if they wanted. They were doing some kind of game in the dining area at that time, and you could tell the people were very happy there. The staff during the tour was very friendly. It was immaculate. It was one of my favorites.

We toured Country Meadow Village. It was out in the country. It was located in a farmland, which we enjoyed. It had kind of an interior courtyard with lots of nice plants and trees. The hallways were fairly wide, they were not closed in. The rooms were fairly nice. There were choices of different sizes and options. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. It was just a very pleasant tour experience.

Country Meadow Village was very nice and the staff was great. The rooms weren't as updated as the other facility, but their food options and activities looked very good. They have a weekly program and an opportunity to take their shuttle to different activities, to doctor's appointments or to the grocery store.

The staff that I met at Country Meadow Village was courteous, friendly, and helpful. They had pretty much everything. They had a bus to take you shopping and they offered all kinds of stuff. The facility was super clean and located near several doctors' offices and one hospital.

I toured Country Meadow Village. I love it myself. I would move in there myself. It is clean, and it's nicely laid out. The people seem friendly, and the residents all seem very happy. They were doing some Tai-Chi. The dining room area was nice. The rooms looked nice. They have this garden area, and that's what impressed me because I'm an outdoorsy person. They have a kind of courtyard inside the building, so if somebody had a little problem with memory, they can't get out of there. They have their own little travel bus, so they go to like activities in the community or nearby. They took some people out for salmon fishing when the weather was good. They went to the Tulip Fields Festival. They have a day designated for shopping if anybody wants to go shopping, and they do doctor's visit rides. There are lots of places to do. The laundry is right inside the building and there's a beauty shop. It was just a peaceful but beautiful place. The gal that gave me my tour answered all my questions. They seemed friendly. Everybody said hi as you walk by, and it was nice. The building itself was very nice and very well kept up. However, if your health declined, you can't just stay there. If you go downhill, you will have to move again. There are lots of people walking around with canes, walkers, and wheelchairs or just walking normally, but if your health declines and you really need to be in a nursing home, they don't provide that there. Another thing that was good though is the hospital is right behind them.

Country Meadow Village was beautiful. They were very nice and very informative. Somebody from the front office took me on the tour. She was very helpful and gave me the information I needed. It's a beautiful facility, but they only have one small elevator to get to the top floor (which would be hard in case of emergency). It's close to the hospital and very central.

We're moving into Country Meadow Village. I like that it's more rural than any of the other places that we had seen. In almost all of the other situations, they were mostly in heavily-travelled areas, which did not fit our lifestyle. But Country Meadows is laid out in the country. There's a huge area where they keep the cows out behind, the apartment that we have chosen has a parking lot right below. It's all country land and farmland, and that peace and quiet is what we desire. It's a one-bedroom unit with a kitchenette, including a stove and a small refrigerator. It has closets, built-in desks, and it looks more like a home than any of the others that we have seen, and we've seen eight of them. I was able to see their menus. Their living atmosphere is kind of disrupted right now with the COVID, but they manage as best as they can. The dining room tables are moved a good distance apart from each other, but it looks good. It's got coffee and snacks available throughout the day, it has a comfortable courtyard, it's two stories, and has an elevator of course. I saw that they have church services, which are important to me, there's a church at the side of the building just beyond the parking area, which is easy-access, and they have exercise classes. Another point is that there's a major hospital directly across the street. The person who gave the tour was extremely knowledgeable, very nice, she answered all questions that we had off the top of her head, she didn't have to look up any information. Their facilities are very new and very nice.

Country Meadow Village's care is very good. The community that my mom is in is friendly and homey. The place is very nice, clean and kept up to date. It's a good community. The staff is good and friendly. They have a lot of activities. They have three meals a day and bathing available. They have room cleaning and when she needs more assistance, they're willing to assist her. Sometimes she's very confused so they escort her to and from the dining room. If they find that she has fallen, they always call me and they're very helpful.

My friend picked out Country Meadow for her mom. Part of the reasons they picked it was because you don't have to change rooms if you need to go from independent to assisted living. The rooms were very large. They had the largest rooms of any place we saw. The place was a little bit older, but it was very nice. The cost was a little less too. For what you get, the price is right. Affordability-wise, it was better than the other ones, i.e., you get a bigger room, and you don't have to change rooms. The people were very nice. However, Country Meadow Village was my third choice because it was a little farther away and not as new. The staff seemed nice though.

I just visited Country Meadow Village today. It was really nice. The people who assisted me were wonderful. They had a salon, an exercise room, and laundry facilities. Some of the units contained a washer and dryer. They had activities and some kind of speaker who came in once a week and spoke on different topics. They said they were one of the only ones that did it. Their prices were a lot better than other places. We would consider this place for my parents.
