My aunt and I toured Columbia Ridge Senior Living, and she really loves it. It is actually her first choice now. It was a beautiful area. There were lots of trees around, and it was quiet. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. The layout was good, and it just seemed like a good community. They have a whole calendar of events that they do. They have a historian that comes in and talks. They are having a luau this weekend. They have a community bus that they take for shopping twice a week or field trips. It was an older building, but it was still nice and well-kept.

Columbia Ridge Senior Living is fine. We've been through COVID for the last two years off and on, so we've been eating in our rooms a lot. The food would get cold before it got to our room. We're out of isolation, so we're getting our food in the cafeteria. It's much better now. My room is clean and neat. When anybody moves out, they come in and completely paint the walls and replace the carpet (most of the carpets are brand new here, though). They safely clean everything right down to the bare floor, if they have to. They really do a good job with that. The garbage is picked up every morning. The rooms are modern, and they have air conditioning and heat. Their prices are just right up where everybody else is, and we have nice new clean rooms. My mother was actually here. My aunt, too. The dining area is big with lots of tables and with no assigned seats. The residents are all very nice to newcomers and very welcoming. We have a lot of laughs and there's humor at the tables. The grounds are kept up very well. There's a walking path all the way around the entire building that you could use. Right now, they're just starting the activities back up. The staff is willing to work with you. They've got slips of paper you can write out about something they need to improve on. You put it right to the box and then the CEO has to respond to it. They're always willing to help and we have pull cords in our rooms.

Columbia Ridge Senior Living was fine. It was a no-frills kind of service, but it was clean, and the people were nice. Generally, my father was happy there. He passed away this year, but he was there for about a year. The staff whom I talked to there seemed nice. It just seemed like they had a high turnover there. The food was good. It was a lower-priced facility, and it was nice. There were definitely nicer places out there, but they were more expensive. They definitely had some games and things like that. They had a piano there, and somebody comes and plays the piano. It's a two-story place, and it has an elevator. It's a pretty good-sized place, and it accommodates around seventy-five people. It was a reasonably priced facility. The service was good for what the price was, but there were a lot nicer places out there that just cost more money.
