Goodwin House Bailey's Crossroad was very lovely. I was received by the staff extremely well. The gentleman who gave us the briefing and the tour was incredible. We saw people in the art studio working on art projects, we visited the gym and saw people working out, and we saw people dining. We got what we were looking for and had a very good sense of the facility. I was very impressed with the staff. They were very courteous and going about their jobs. The activities looked absolutely amazing. There were so many things to choose from and lots of people participating.

The Goodwin House was excellent. They had classes, a gym, a pool, a lot of outings, and transport to local places. There was so much going on there. The dining area and all of the apartments looked excellent.

Goodwin House is beautiful. The facility is beautiful, and that's probably my first choice as of this moment. The programing and the facility are both excellent. The food program is also excellent. I like Goodwin House. It is just in a congested, crowded area with tons of traffic, and it will be very hard for my friends to get there. That's the drawback.
However, they have wonderful activities. They have an excellent studio with painting and pottery classes. They even have a place for the residents do the flower arrangements for the facility, which is sort of a little flower shop where you can do flower arranging. I like it a lot, and I like everything about it. It is clean, neat, and well kept. The staff has been very pleasant. It is really a wonderful place.

Goodwin House seemed like a very well-organized community. People were very friendly, and it seemed a bit closer knit; it's one of the reasons why I like it. It also has a different financial model as well. The staff were very nice and very knowledgeable. It has a very friendly environment, and everybody knew each other. They have lots of activities on site. They also have education for the residents to take classes. They have offered different workshops as well. They have different kinds of arts and craft type rooms. They have a gym and a pool. It was definitely very appealing.

I went to a place called Goodwin House because I knew somebody who lived there. I thought it was very nice. I did get to eat there, and the food was very good. The marketing people were very accommodating. The apartment at the independent living was very nice. It was not as large as the one in the other place I looked, but it was adequate. I saw their activity calendar. They had aerobics, a pool, and crafts. I liked the lobby, and the dining area was very nice.

We visited Goodwin House at Bailey's during an "open house", so we got to see lots of apartments that people were living in. Its renovation has taken place recently. It is more urban than its sister company, Goodwin House at Alexandria. But they're both a cut above anything that we've seen. And I think it had to do more with their holistic approach. You wouldn't feel like your life is going down as you progress to greater care or to a different level of care.
The other facilities are less attractive, more sparse and institutional. It didn't have that feeling here. The rooms were wonderful. It's filled with natural light and there are lots of different options. The marketing staff and the care staff seemed very professional, very well-trained, and very good at what they're doing.
