White Springs Senior Living was magnificent. That was first-rate. However, we had a complication there. They did not complete their assessment of my wife's condition, and from what I saw, the people there were in much better shape, so I think they are being pretty selective in who they admit. It looks almost like the people were all walking around and communicating and that sort of thing, and my wife is not able to do that. She has many difficulties walking.
The best thing about it is that it is currently in that they've only been open after they built the place for like a year and a half. Everything was spotless. And the location, virtually every room that I was in, the view of the surrounding areas was just wonderful. The way it's set up, somebody had an awful lot of talent in designing the place and putting the best possible foot forward in amenities. It was quite nice.
The staff was wonderful. The only person I talked to was the tour guide, and she's also the admissions person. She's like an all-rounder, and she was there when the place was built. She was probably their first employee, but she was very, very knowledgeable, although I got the impression that their policy of admissions may be more restrictive than the other place. She knew everything about the place. She was not like a person that had another job. It seemed like she was more the management type, so you felt that you were dealing with somebody that was in authority.

We toured White Springs Senior Living. The place seemed nice and the lady who gave the tour was very, very helpful. I like the outside grounds more at the other place I saw, it just had a little bit better feel to it. I would recommend this place. The staff was very nice, very good, and very professional.

We chose White Springs Senior Living for my mother because they would be able to provide the services that she needed. So we went and we saw this one and we liked it, so we picked it. We've only just moved her in. We ran into a few hiccups in terms of her getting on their schedules for things and so forth, but they respond once we tell them that they need to do something for her. The staff is responsive and very hard-working, although it seems at times that they might be understaffed. Mom has had two meals there and she likes them. She also likes their activities. They have a lot of activities. Yesterday they did bingo, they have movie nights, baked blueberry muffins, and today she's headed to the walking club and she's going to do chair exercises. They have things every single day to keep them very active, and that's one of the reasons why we were so quick to sign up with them. The place is very clean and bright. Her room is small but nice, and she seems to be very happy there. It's really expensive but it's on par with all the other places, and assisted living care is expensive.

My mom is in White Springs Senior Living's assisted living. We chose this community for the location, their price is fair, and the visit we had was good. Her room is new and well-kept. The staff is nice and the facility is very nice. They seemed professional, caring, and good. For activities, they have gardening, crafting, bingo, media like movies, and things like that.

I’m not thrilled with how they are handling the Covid outbreak at the facility. They aren’t in lockdown and still letting hundreds of people come through the doors every day. I don’t think the administrator knows what she is doing and I’m not the only me who feels that way. She is a very cold person. Everything is a money game to her. The building however is beautiful. They don’t have much nursing staff, as everyone has left due to the boss.

I liked White Springs Senior Living very much. They had apartments that you could live in, plus they also had a memory care unit. We liked the facilities. I thought they were rated high. It was very clean and very neat. The staff was very friendly. We spent almost an hour looking at apartments and their facilities there. I can't tell how their staff was operating there, but they were very friendly with us. We were invited to a lunch, but we were on a tight schedule with it being Christmastime and everything. I met with one of their coordinators. The facility was new and looked very kept up, and their location was great. The hospital was behind it, and the doctors' offices right by it. They had a cafeteria where you got all your meals. They did housekeeping. We would have a one-bedroom apartment there.

We did a tour of White Springs Senior Living Assisted Living. It's a brand-new facility, and they only opened last November, so it's not even a year old.
It had a very open, airy feel. It's new and fresh. Even the last wing was just being opened for residents. We got to see a resident's room, and they are in the stages of getting in the full swing of things. They're moving right along. My sister liked that.
The staff we met is a very energetic person and kind of enthusiastic. They made a real effort to make my sister feel invited.
I didn't see a lot of activity, but maybe it was the timing when we were there. We saw the activity center, met the person, and saw maybe three or four people in there. They are still in start-up mode there, and they're still getting things under way.
