I've been in a few nursing homes visiting people in my life time BUT this place I wouldn't allow them to keep my dog overnight. My stepfather was in the black hole of a place for a little over a month. The last time my family went to visit him we found him in his dark room, in his wheelchair with nothing on but a diaper and an old worn out hospital gown that wasn't even tied and almost completely off and falling on the floor. Some idiot pushed him right in front of the window a/c and he was freezing. This was at 1:00pm...I asked 4 people who were standing there texting on their cellphones why wasn't my stepfather dressed in warm clothes and all 4 said "we don't know" ..Then a nurse was giving out medicine and I asked her to get someone to help get my stepfather dressed and she just stood there like she was deaf and the look of a deer in the headlights.. NO CLUE!! I think what struck me the most is when you walk into Envoy the lobby is spit shined to perfection but as you go deeper into the bowels of this place you start to see that all the spit shinning stops at the lobby.. Believe me when I say this.. LOOK AT ANOTHER OPTIONS FOR AN ELDERLY FAMILY MEMBER.

I am a sister of a resident. My brothers and I visited yesterday and found our sister clean, happy and well carried for. We are very
pleased with the attention she was getting.

I have a friend there I visit almost daily. The staff has always been caring and kind. They don't have any easy job, but it is obvious how much they love the people they take care of. The building is older but the care is excellent. Like all things, your experience is what you make it

I am one of those people who visits friends in nursing homes and always have. My mother is currently in one, but fairly far away.
I now visit about once a week. It is rare for the place to smell bad. It is clean. The staff is always friendly and attentive.
I recently did a study where I needed CNAs, and was surprised to learn that this place pays the best in the area!
My friend is unable to talk after a stroke. It is hard to communicate. But the staff is friendly towards her and I don't see animosity.
Food is -meh- institutional food.
It is a horrible thing to have to put a loved one in a place like this. That's why people vote it down. But this is not a bad place and if I were stuck here, well, there really are worse. The quality has gone up and down over the years. Right now it is up. Special kudos to third floor.

I wouldnt give this place nothing but 0 rating. They do nothing good at. all for the patients they tell you lies to cover up the little that they do.Id you go there you can expect to just sit in a small dark room with nothing to do except wait to die and the smell of this place when you walk down the hall's are terrible don't put your loved one here this place should be shut down.

I didn't like Envoy Healthcare. It's all together not a very pleasant experience. The staff was just minding their own business and the patients were just sitting there. The smell of the place takes you over.
