Bethel Helping Hands was very old, it's like a home turned into an assisted living so there's only a very few people living there. The lady that assisted me was the manager, she was short-staffed for the weekend and she was not expecting us, I don't know why. Their dining area is just a small kitchen with a small table, and I saw the menu on the board but I wasn't really impressed with the food. The staff said that a lot of the times they'll just order something out and have it come in, like pizza or sometimes she gets breakfast from Hardee's or McDonald's. I was not really impressed with this place because it's a very old house and the rooms were too small. And you'd have to share a room with someone else when there's hardly any storage space. The staff who assisted us was very knowledgeable, and she gave us other information as well. She knew her stuff and she's very upfront about what it's all about. They didn't really have handicapped-accessible bathrooms.

I found the facility to be warm and home like. I was concern with the size of the facility because it is a home setting. But I noticed that is the exact kind of place I would want to be. Its like being in your own home with personal caregiver. The staff helpful, but also visible and very personable. My aunt is very happy with their services.

Bethel Helping Hands would be a very nice place to live. They're very willing to help you. They took time; they didn't rush anything. There was plenty to do and a lot of things for the people who live there to do together and enjoy. I had a really nice lunch. It was very well prepared and very good. They were very modern and everything was top of the line. The residents and the staff were great.
