About This Community
Dutch Haven Assisted Living offers affordable, high quality, and personalized assisted living care. Our dedication to our residents has led us to expand our services to include a new, secure memory care unit.

Dutch Haven has been locally owned and operated since 1991. The owners are a psychiatrist and clinical psychologist. Both have many years experience in the diagnosis and treatment of dementia and cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer's disease.

Morning Glory offers sensory stimulation activities, interactive therapies, and memory enhancement therapies. Morning Glory is limited to only 11 residents, so close relationships can be easily nurtured between our residents, their families, and our caregivers. Each resident's room is attractively designed. We work closely with our residents to make sure they feel right at home.

My husband was living here he passed away after a 2 weeks of being in that disgust downstairs and after visiting him and becoming sick myself and close with a now former employee I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! The food these people have to eat isn’t even fit for a pig to eat much less your loved ones. Theres a few good employees who actually care and do their job but the administration will work them to the point of resignation. They have bathrooms with pee and everything else on the floors, mold in the living quarters, cracks in the ceiling pee and food covered carpet, it’s just a very unhealthy environment for the elderly.

This assisted living facility needs to be shut down. They are treating the people living there horribly. They have a communal bathroom where patients have used the bathroom on the floor, staff doesn’t clean, and when others come in the have to hold their pants up so they don’t get wet. They are feeding them foods such as Mac and cheese and hot dogs. These people and their families are paying way too much money for them to stay there for them to not be receiving balanced, healthy meals. They will also not let people go outside and walk around or they will be “grounded.” This place is HORRIBLE for the well being, safety and mental health of those living there and something needs to be done.

My mother is in Dutch Haven Assisted Living and I like it all. The layout is great, and it's broken up into little sections. The attendants, nurses, and aides are superior. The dining area is always clean and they serve the food according to the patients; they're great. They do activities like bingo, little art activities, planting activities, and they actually brought in a little bird aviary with finches in it so they can all enjoy it. It has been great. The staff is great and the residents all seemed to enjoy the food, and they fix it the way they can have it. It's an older community, and it's an older home that's converted, so it's very homey and comfortable. They have a lot of activities.
