I visited Falcons Landing once, and it was a very clean community. Everybody was really friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful, but it's hilly and difficult for walking. They have a gym, a swimming pool, and different things are scheduled on a daily basis. They have apartments, separate cottages, 1-bedrooms, and 2-bedrooms. They were very well maintained.

Mother had been to Johnson Cntr/Falcons Landing before and I went to go check them out. They're from a military and government background. The amazing thing about them is that especially in Johnson Center, they have a skilled nursing section too. They have the most amazing facility and if Mom was really sick, I'd send her there. There were fancier parts outside of Johnson Center and I knew Mom would hate it because it's bring your own booze and they don't have a wine and happy hour. She previously was a patient in the skilled nursing facility for rehab there. It's absolutely gorgeous and it's an incredible retirement community. If you're a military retiree and you're eligible to go there, it's definitely worth checking out. It's a seriously good facility. The grounds were beautiful, and the buildings were all really nice. The staff was excellent. The food was amazing. I ate there when my mom was there, and if you want fillet mignon every night for dinner, you can have it. The people were great. They have all kinds of activities and different things every day, which is really great. They have everything from visiting animals to flower arranging, to art. They have a full schedule of activities. It's better than it costs. They're not there to make money, they're there to take care of people.

Falcons Landing was the best place that I've seen, so far. It had multiple levels of care, but it did not have a hospice. It's the only place I would recommend. The place was about 30 acres that had separate houses and several main buildings. Within the main buildings were all sorts of levels of care. It had a dining room that had a comment book where people could comment on the food that was being served.
