About This Community
We are a memory care community by design. Our goal at Lansdowne Heights Memory Care Community is to provide care as needed, offer a secure environment, and a purpose-driven day for the person with memory challenges who can no longer live at home or by themselves. These individuals still want a sense of freedom, self-esteem and a reason for living and enjoying life. We achieve these goals by offering:
- Gourmet meals in a family-style setting that can be tailored to any diet
- Beautiful outside patios and garden with walking paths, seasonal flowers and yard art, bird feeders and a water fountain
- Daily exercise program, music, dance and art therapy, book club and outings
- Stimulating activities with speakers and centered around holiday/historical themes
- Onsite medical – nurses, geriatric psychiatry, x-rays and blood work (as needed), on-call physician, podiatry
- Housekeeping, Laundry Services and Maintenance Upkeep
- Scheduled Transportation for activities and physician appointments

This facility exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in. The receptionist greeted us by name and checked us in by taking our temperature and going through a series of questions. While visiting the community, we met various team members along the way and all of them took the time to greet us and share more about what they do at the community. The dining director impressed us as he has come up with a bite size option for their menu as an alternative for those residents who lose the ability to feed themselves later in life. I loved this idea for our mom as we want to make sure she maintains as much as her independence as possible.
I highly recommend visiting this community and seeing all they have to offer!
