My husband was staying at Patriots Colony at Williamsburg. He was in their nursing facility and he later was in hospice there. They have a memory care facility as well. They have everything there. Everything seemed to be very nice and well taken care of. The people were very friendly, but like most nursing homes, the residents don't really get a lot of attention, especially immobile people like my husband. They leave you on your own most of the time. At first he really liked the food, but he got tired of it. I thought the food seemed to be really nice.

Patriots Colony at Williamsburg was an elegant place, and the staff is very attentive. It has a fairly large entry fee. It's in a hundreds of thousands of dollars. I have eaten there several times, and the food is very good. They offer 2 meals a day, and the dining area is very upscale. There were many activities, and they had card rooms, libraries, and many planned events. I think it's an outstanding place. They have a nursing home and rehabilitation.

I visited Patriot's Colony on several occasions. I have visited my grandparents for holiday dinners, birthdays, and anytime I'm passing through and have the time to stop. They rave about the community here. Whether it's weekly card games, gardening, or golfing, residents find ways to stay active. I particularly enjoy the mixed community - they have retirement condos, assisted living apartments, and a nursing home. I think having all three in one place makes the community more vibrant and makes the transition to more intensive care easier on residents and families.Additionally, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They know more of the residents by name and are excited to meet member of the resident's families. I have never encountered poor service there in my 5 total visits. They manage to balance healthy options for those with strict dietary needs with high quality standard fare you'd expect to find in an average restaurant. They also have a rotating menu, which is nice for the residents.
