My brother has been a resident at Acadia Care for a little over a year now. He is happy and comfortable there and I am happy that he is in such a caring place. Every staff member I have spoken with has been kind and helpful as well as knowledgeable about his health and concerned for his well being. As important, they know the good person he is and enjoy him being there. Yes, the setting is beautiful and matched by the beautiful atmosphere inside Acadia Care.

My mother is a resident at Acadia and I could not be happier with the service provided. The experienced staff is attentive and courteous to to the residents, providing varied and creative recreational activities, assistance with bathing and hygiene tasks, and attention to each residents needs. It's like family here!
The house is large and open, with space for my mom pursue her hobbies, or to just relax and and have an easy day. There is a pool on site for exercise and fun, a large porch with stunning mountain views, and a wildflower meadow in the spring.
Acadia Care is something special, definitely would recommend!

We wanted a place where we could visit my father in law freely and comfortably, and most importantly a place where he was treated with dignity and respect. Once I toured Acadia, I knew it would be the perfect place for him. The facility is absolutely beautiful and has spectacular views of the mountains. Acadia has all the comforts of home and such a peaceful atmosphere. Brad never hesitated to reach out to me via text, emails or phone conversations with updates on the status of my father in law. I always felt that my father in law was in a safe and secure environment. I was confident that the staff at Acadia had the ability and knowledge to care for my father in law. I completely recommend Acadia as very capable and loving facility for your loved one.

Brad and his staff take wonderful care of my grandmother. Knowing she is well-cared for by them makes me rest easier at night. She has things to do there and it is not too crowded. There are plenty of friendly staff always on duty.

My sister moved into Acadia in August 2021, she is so happy and so loved, it has warmed my heart and relieved my reservations about her going into a assisted living. The rooms are beautiful, each with a well appointed toilet/shower. The main room is very big, with big windows... my sister loves sunshine. The fact they have a pool is wonderful, my sister LOVES being in the water!! Having met the staff furthered my appreciation, they are wonderful and so kind. Couldn't be happier with her situation. I was looking at the assisted living at Acadia Care. I was very impressed by the quality of care there, and by the obvious comfort of the older people being cared for in their homes. I thought the staff was exceptional. I never did get to meet the owner, but the people that live there and take care of everybody are absolutely wonderful. They know what they're doing. They're dependable and likable. I can see why elderly people would like to live there. It's a private home. It has a wonderful swimming pool in the backyard. It has a wonderful view, but the place itself is very, very nice. It's a top notch building. The furniture and everything is first rate, so it's very nice. Everyone seems to feel like they belong there. It was a very nice place to live.

Acadia Care is nice and clean, and they have twenty-four-hour service. I think that would be good for my husband so they can help him with his medications. The staff was really nice. She showed me around the place, and it seemed like they take pride in the work that they do. The staff was very eager to help, she explained everything to me in detail, and she was more than looking forward to me choosing this place for him to stay. The upkeep is really good, it seems like they have everything in order, and everything looks nice. It's right off the interstate, and it is in between Charlottesville and Waynesboro, so it's a good location for me.
