My parents have lived at Williamsburg for about 10 months now and are truly enjoying their new found freedom. Their room is spacious and overlooks the beautiful courtyard. Meals are wonderful, Staff is friendly and helpful, and there are a variety of activities to choose from. We feel relieved knowing that they are living independently, yet have cares available to them when it is needed. We always feel welcome when we come to visit.

The administration that ran Williamsburg was really good and caring with the residents. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and hominess. My preference would be Williamsburg because it was smaller.

Williamsburg is the most amazing place in the world! My Grandma and her friends are always having a great time eating yummy home cooked meals, and doing so many things both in the building and in the community, They do more than I do! They go canoeing, and have special classes. They make beautiful crafts, and are always having a party. It is always decorated for the holidays and seasons. I love knowing that my Grandma always has someone there in case of emergency. She is happy, and I know she is well taken care of. If I could live there I would!

Williamsburg Retirement community cares for all ages of those retiring and their needs. As we retire its hard as we become less and less independent but the Williamsburg Retirement community does all they can to help there guest stay independent. There rooms range from those how more 24 hour need care to those that are fairly independent. The staff is kind and understanding always willing to help and be a friend. The staff helps manage all of their guests medication so that they are well taken care of. If and when medical attention is needed it is only a phone call away for someone to be at your door answering questions, assisting in any way they can and an emergency. They want their guest to be at home and feel honored that they are able to care for those that have care for so many. Doing everything they can to help them enjoy the tail end of there lives.

My grandmother has been in the assisted living wing at Williamsburg for nearly a year, now. In general the facilities are clean and well-kept (love the new decor!), and the staff is pleasant. We had a brief issue with the woman in charge of cleaning the room, but she has since moved on and the new lady seems to be doing an excellent job.For the most part the CNAs have been helpful and attentive, although communication is lacking at times. With family nearby this hasn't caused major issues, but it could easily become a problem if an interested party isn't on-hand to keep an eye on things. The turnover rate for employees has been high lately...I'm don't know that that indicates anything sinister, but it is interesting to note. The facility is homey and intimate, all the residence seem very happy and there are plenty of social activities offered. Almost without fail there is a bevy of ladies chatting in the foyer, greeting visitors. My biggest complaint is the food. When we toured the facility we were given a loaf of homemade bread by the friendly lady in the kitchen as a welcome gift. It was wonderful and we assumed that that would be an indication of the meal quality. Not so. It may be different in the dining room, but my grandmother has her meals in her bedroom and they tend to resemble lumpy, often unheated, globs with canned green beans (or the equivalent) and soggy peach cobbler on the side. I don't expect anything gourmet, but it seems to me that an assisted living facility would give a certain amount of priority to creating healthy, balanced menus for their fragile residents.There are a lot of excellent things about this community, but if you plan to live there or place a family member in their care, make sure you're nearby to supervise...and plan on buying your own food.

The city is known to attract senior citizens and therefore there are a number of retirement homes. Williamsburg retirement home is stands-out in that the employees in this establishment are responsible and are proactive. Residents enjoy best amenities, food service, and recreation facilities. Local church, daily exercises, outdoor activities, live musical programs are among a few of other services are offered. Interested residents are encouraged to participate in workshops and arts and crafts classes. Occasional trips and community events are arranged for residents. The proximity to Utah State University, Libraries and stores in and around Logan makes living in Williamsburg all the more a great experience.
