My father has been at Abbington Manor Senior Living Lehi for 2 months now. He loves being there, so far. He's made lots of friends. He was kind of shut down at first and didn't want to leave his room, but he seems to have opened up and he's doing well now. Dad has a studio apartment, and it's comfortable for him. They have bingo nights, and sometimes they dress up as your favorite movie character. They have tons of different things to do. They have an exercise room and a theater room. The library is right across the street, so they don't have one there. They have a gardening area and a church room. The staff has been nothing but helpful and very sweet. They are very kind and they just tell me how much they love my dad because he's very friendly. It just makes me feel good to know that he's in a safe place. It is an older building, but it's very nice for an older building.

I am a huge fan of the Abbington! The building is super cute, and I feel right at home every time I walk through the front door. Sometimes I feel like I'm at a cute bed and breakfast! The staff is always helpful and kind, and never seem put out whenever we have a need or question. We love the activities, the Nurse and my mom loves her friends that she has made! Having the Legacy Rec Center next door has been a blessing in disguise, making it easier to visit since we seem to be there for everything! I love what they are doing here at the Abbington, and am glad that we found an affordable option for our family that really does care about us!

Building is old and somewhat unkept. Appliances breaking down. continual turn over in Staff as well as understaffed. Management seems a little more concerned with covering their own butt, rather than the emotional welfare and happiness of the residents. Unhappy residents. Kind of reminds me of a sad little nursing home. No physical therapy gym. It has a nice theater room in the basement, however equipment is outdated.

It is a great place. My mom is happy there -- as happy as she could be in a place. It is very nice. I like just the layout of the buildings or the way that it is set up; it is more like home. I like it a lot. They have all kinds of things such as movie nights, craft things, outings, and shopping.

My grandma was at Abbington Manor years ago, and that’s why we decided to choose it for mom. They have senior living assisted, and they have memory care. Mom is on memory care, and there were only 12 people. She has her own private room, she has her own private things, and they have activities starting at 9 in the morning till 5 in the evening, and that’s what we were looking for for mom. It’s a very nice facility that has a complete living room and kitchen with probably 6 tables. They have different things that we were looking for or qualities that we would like for our mom to be in. It would have been nice for mom to be able to go in the kitchen and help with cooking and help make cookies, and I guess when the Alzheimer’s gets worse, they’re not allowed to be in the kitchen. But I would recommend the facility.

Abbington Manor was a very nice facility. The rooms were very nice. I think they just had a half bathroom with a toilet and a sink, and the showers and stuff were down the hallways. It was very clean. They had activities and exercise programs the same as the other facilities that I have visited. The staff accommodated the residents there, but they weren't as attentive to them. But the staff, the director and the assistant to the director were very friendly and very accommodating. They gave me information about what I needed to know about the facility. The director there had quite a bit of knowledge about Alzheimer's and those that are separate from Alzheimer's, and they also had an in-house doctor and a nurse like the other ones. They have crafts and games, exercise programs, and music. They have a gated area and locked down facility for memory care for security. I would suggest that they be more attentive to the needs of their residents.

Abbington Manor was a bigger place. Their hallway was longer. They had friendly people. They had trips places like the candy factory. They had entertainment and had social get together. They seemed to have a nice kitchen area. I saw the rooms. However, I wasn't too impressed with it. I thought their furniture, like the television, was a little older. I felt like its more of an institutional place. But I would recommend it to others.
