It's one of the least expensive facilities in Tyler, so as the saying goes you get what you pay for! I would definitely not recommend this place, understaffed ,not certified, they are barely making minimum wage, but 1 person is expected to do everything for all the residents, which is ridiculous! The rooms are not being cleaned as promised one time a week. Don't expect a lot of hot meals they serve a lot of sandwiches. You're basically on your own it's not really Assisted living. You have to constantly be in contact with the facility to make sure your family member is being taken care of.

This facility is run down, management will not repair water damage to rooms and hallways that flooded. Staff /management/owners could care less about residents, the level of care is way below expectations of this type of facility, staff is poorly trained and to even rate this facility mediocre would be giving them more credit than it deserves. legong91889@

My mother is in Reunion Inn. It's not perfect but good. The only real complaint I have is they won't let her give her own medication, because her mental capacities are still fine. Their food is questionable; she complains about it some. It's a nice place. She has a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette. They take them to Walmart, and they play bingo. They just need a medication aide, somebody to do better on giving out medication.

We moved my mother to Reunion inn in Tyler. We moved her because the other was just incredibly expensive. We put her there because of all the activities and things that were available. However she is 93, and she doesn't do any of that stuff. I do not like it. They are maybe six people that work here besides the kitchen staff. At night, there is only one person that is on duty. There is not enough staff. I'm here every day checking in on her, and some of the staff is not caring. They only have probably five people for the whole place. So at dinner time, the person at the front desk has to go to the kitchen to help which is wild. Mother has a little bedroom, a little living area, kitchen, and a nice size bathroom. It makes her happy.

Reunion Inn (not to be confused with Reunion Plaza nursing home) is a rather small assisted living facility in Tyler, Texas. I have visited this assisted living approximately 75-100 times over the past three years. A close friend lived at this assisted living for about a month before needing to go to a nursing home. Reunion Inn has a warm and quiet atmosphere. The food and food service is very average compared to other assisted living. Reunion Inn is a good option if your loved one is unable to live independantly and has low-level health problems. There is not a nurse on staff; therefore, if your loved one requires a nurse on hand it is not a good option. I think one of the great things about this assisted living is that it costs much less than some of the other assisted living options in Tyler. While it is less expensive, residents still receive transportation, housekeeping services, and the other basic assisted living benefits. I was pleased with Reunion Inn while my loved one lived here.
