I toured Reunion Plaza Senior Care & Rehab Center Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. It was newer and cleaner. The person assisting with the tour was fine, but the staff was non-committal. They seemed like they just wanted to get their eight hours in and get home, and that's fine, that's what people do. They didn't seem busy, but they appeared to be. They tried to look busy, too busy to look up and speak, or anything. But you could tell they didn't seem like they cared. They're probably doing their job, but they don't seem to be happy about it. It's an older place, but it's kept up clean. It doesn't have that smell, no odor.

Our father hasn't seen the sun in 3 months. We can only visit thru a locked glass window and the food portions are very small with never a snack. I called another home in our city and they take the resident out into a courtyard to visit their family with a mask. Before you choose this home I advise you to speak to Jimmy which I believe is 2nd in charge and you will more than likely choose another home. Please understand I do not mean to bad mouth anyone but your loved one is so very important to you and this place is honestly worse than any prison with a warden that is very unempathetic. God Bless.. Good luck.They ask me to write about activities. There are none. He sits in his room 24hours a day. The staff is kind except for the weekend nights. I won't say what's on my mind about them.

The staff seems to be good with my mother but whoever makes the rules must not like flowers. I went by to deliver a dozen roses to my mom and I was informed that they had to stay outside on the windowsill. I understand why we can't visit because of this. Corona virus but roses don't cough.. Not a cool rule.. I'll give them 5 stars because I have no idea of any of the questions because its locked down like a prison..

Reunion Plaza's appearance and the layout are OK, but they're really short-handed, and you have to wait. They have mostly CNAs who work there and sometimes you can't get a registered nurse who can give medication, so sometimes my uncle's medicine is delayed. The staff is friendly, and there's just not enough of them. They need some LVNs and more registered nurses. They have a little dining area and the quality of the food is OK. They provide activities for the residents that can participate , like bingo, and they recently had a Super Bowl party.

The facilities at Reunion Plaza are very accomodating. There are a lot of activities that the residents can do, for example bingo and other games. The facilities remind you of being in your own home environment. The employees of this facility take very good care of the residents and attend to their every need. Meals are cooked three times a day just like at home. There is a visiting area in the lobby were family can visit with relatives.Reunion Plaza takes care of all needs that the residents have. I haven't heard my family or anyone else say anything negative about Reunion Plaza. The rooms at Reuion Plaza are very spacious and allow for two occupants, for example husband and wife. I never had to worry if my family was being taken care of. The landscaping around Reuion Plaza, as well as the interior decorating is very inviting. If I had any other family needing to be placed in a nursing home I would choose this one without any second thoughts.
