The Waterford on Huebner was a wonderful place. I really, really liked it a lot. The atmosphere was great. The people were great. The facility was really good. They had a lot of things that I think would work well for my brother. It was just a really nice place. They had a lot of things that I think would be good for my brother. Right now he lives alone, and so he wouldn't be alone anymore, and the fact that he would get meals every day. They gave me a copy of the calendar for the month and it's full of activities. I really liked it a lot. The staff was very pleasant. It was very helpful. We went and walked around, and he answered all my questions. I just felt very comfortable. There are a lot of people that he interacted with, and that was very positive, which was good. He was very thorough and very helpful. I didn't have any negative things to say about anything from my visit. I looked at two different rooms. One was just a single room, which was pretty small, but my brother doesn't really need anything big. It was maybe like the size of a hospital room. It had a nice walk-in shower and closet. It had room for him to have a desk for a computer and his bed. Every room had an exit to the outside, which was nice. Then I looked at a one-bedroom suite. It was nice, it was bigger, it had a separate bedroom, and it had a living area. There was a room that was designated as a library. There was like an activity room for crafts. There was a little gym. There was an activity room that had a pool table and card tables. In their front lobby area there was a big area, and they had exercises for the residents that were interested. There is a big cafeteria. They had a juice bar there that was open all day if you wanted to get something to drink. On Friday night, the staff said they do happy hour where they can all get together. They had a big outdoor area where you could go out and sit. They provided transportation to doctors' appointments and so forth like that. They also had a little room with the washing machines and stuff like that, so you could wash your clothes.

I did not like the lady at the entryway of The Waterford on Huebner. She looked at us like we were in the wrong area. She looked at us like we were dumb or something. It was just an unpleasant feeling, so we weren't there very long. Off the bat, I knew that I would never leave my mother there. We looked at a room, but it was just off-putting. The first vibe was not good. The staff who gave me the tour was friendly. She was nice. She wasn't the one that normally does the tours, so she really couldn't answer any questions. I just think they need to be a little more friendly and accepting.

I had an in-person tour of The Waterford on Huebner. The staff members were very cordial. They were on time, and they treated me very well. I got all the information I needed pretty quickly. The facility was in good shape. It was an older place, but it was very clean, and everything was very nice. The size of the rooms was exactly what we needed. We looked at a one-bedroom unit with a living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The grounds were very well-manicured. I was there at mealtime, and the residents were having a meal. It was more of a restaurant setting. It was adequate for our needs, and it was in a nice location.

The Waterford on Huebner was very, very inviting. The only drawback was their studio apartment was not even as big as a hotel room. You can only put a twin bed and a chair in that room, but everybody that I've met was very pleasant and willing to stop and talk with me and answer any questions. They were very, very, very friendly. Just by watching their interactions with the residents and how they know the people by the first name, I was very impressed. It was very easy to get around. The hallways were bright and wide, which would accommodate people in wheelchairs or walkers. They had an awesome library, plenty of little nooks for people to gather and have conversations, laundry facilities, physical activities, and TV rooms where people could gather and watch a ballgame. They even had a popcorn machine for the residents. It was an A-plus facility.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about The Waterford on Huebner. The staff people there were very nice. I actually got to meet three or four residents there, and I got to talk with them, and they had really nice things to say. The drawback for me was the apartments were all unfurnished completely. The only thing that was in there was a microwave. They had a big courtyard. Each apartment had its own little area outside where they can put chairs or even a small table. You could sit outside your room if you wanted to, or there was a big porch in the front, and that had room for a lot of people to go out and just sit and relax. The staff was exceptionally nice, very friendly, very cooperative, and answered every question that I had. It was a very good experience and very educational for me. Everything was very nice. The dining room was very nice. It's more like a cafeteria. It's an open space where you get to go in and sit down. It was like a cruise ship. You can sit where you want. If my situation changes, they would certainly be high up on my list.

My mom used to live in The Waterford on Huebner before, but she had fallen so we took her out of there. She was there for a few years and she loved it. But she had to keep track of everything on her own, and she knew when she needed to go with her meals. She would take herself to activities, she participated in a lot of things, and on Fridays, they would bring entertainment, and play bingo. When I visit they were engaged in something, and she was always laughing and having a good time. They would check them at night, and when they close the doors they know that the members are in their rooms. So they would make rounds just for precaution. The room that she had had no appliances except a microwave and a small refrigerator, but they provided three meals for them. And whatever she needs, she can always ask and they'll go get it for her. They get the meals together with what they pay, so she's fed. If she wanted something like a snack, she can go down to the kitchen and grab a snack. They also have a laundry facility so they could do their own laundry. They have outdoor spaces in the back where they can go out and sit, and she also had a little patio. They were good to my mom and my mom had a good time there. And they provide tours and things with people, and they would take them. The staff was mainly the people in the kitchen and area that serves food, and whoever would come in and clean the room, that was pretty much it. And the lady at the front desk was always there, and if they ever needed something they would always go to her. They had a mailbox area, so they would all get their private mail there, which was close to the dining area. It was kinda like an apartment building, the only thing was they provided meals so that was awesome. The food is good. The facility was clean and it was such a big place. My mom likes to walk outside although they didn't have a walking trail, it was such a long building. They'd have elevators and stairs also just in case.

The Waterford on Huebner was very clean and very, very nice. The hostess was very gracious and very informative, and we enjoyed the tour. It's a little on the dated or older side, but it's very comfortable. And the people there seem to be happy. So the accommodations and the rooms are a little dated, but we enjoyed our tour. We saw the rooms, they're very neat and clean, and the kitchen area is very small, like a kitchenette and not a full kitchen. The bedrooms on the ones that we saw were open, they didn't have walls to enclose them. They were very clean. We saw the dining area, it looked very nice and inviting. There was also a meeting area with a big fireplace, and a big room, everything looked very nice and accommodating for people of all needs. Some people were visibly more handicapped than others, but it looked like they were very well taken care of. There was staff everywhere so nobody was left by themselves. The staff who gave the tour was very, very helpful.

We are so happy with The Waterford on Huebner. From our very first contact, we have felt welcome and that the residents there are happy. Meals are appealing and delicious. The common areas are inviting and clean. There are multiple places to sit and have a chat. The Waterford has a workout room, several laundry rooms, game room, library/puzzle room, and craft room. There are multiple activities to choose from every day. Our mother's doctor even visits patients here! Car service is provided for local shopping and appointments. We found the staff to be genuinely caring, kind, and helpful. The rooms are nicely renovated between residents. We are confident that we made a great decision choosing The Waterford on Huebner.

I toured The Waterford on Huebner, and I was even planning to move there. The staff that gave the tour was very good, her name is Dolores. They have apartments, they were very good. The upkeep seems excellent, and they have a beautiful garden. I did not try the food but the garden area was very nice. The person who was in charge was excellent and very good.

The Waterford on Huebner was very nice. I like that one. They have assisted living, but my father has early stages of dementia, so we needed something that was going to facilitate and help out with dementia, and they didn't do that. But it was a beautiful place. That lady there was so helpful and so knowledgeable. She tried to help us out because this is all new to us, and so I enjoyed talking to her. I like the place because it was gated, and it was nice. They have a gazebo, too.

The Waterford on Huebner is an older community, but it's well kept. They have a lot of greenery that you can enjoy walking around. It's a small community (which is what I liked), and they have a fantastic place to go and eat. They don't have a pool though and that's one of the things I didn't like, but the rooms were spacious. They had just remodeled one room and they were making them all wooden floors. It was just really, really nice. They had kitchenettes (not a full kitchen which was what I was looking for), but the lady was really, really nice and sweet. She was fantastic. Every time I asked a question, she would answer it and she knew the area very well.

I went to The Waterford on Huebner, and they had people doing different activities, so that was encouraging. They had a community kitchen that if I want to cook a regular meal, I can. They have an actual stove there. They also had a guest room. If I had family members who want to come stay with me for the weekend, they could rent that little room for the weekend. It was a smaller facility, which I like. Even though it wasn't in the area that I would like to live, at least I felt it was more people friendly. It's more of a neighborhood and not so much industrial. I like that better about The Waterford, too. They offer three meals a day. It costs more, but it just seemed more attractive and brighter. It had good lighting throughout the building. It had a total of four laundry rooms, which I thought was great. People could easily do their laundry. They don't charge for using the laundry room. It just had a nice brightness to it throughout the whole facility. I like the lighting of it. I like the idea that it is a two-story because I don't really want to live in a tower of apartments. I don't want apartment living. Although this would be like a small apartment, at least it wasn't three or four stories. The staff was very nice. It had a nice entranceway. If a guest were to come, they could easily find the restrooms. The rooms looked very accommodating. It did not have a hotel feel. It just looked like a little apartment. I just thought that their air-conditioning systems needed to be upgraded. It looked a little old and not cared for well enough; that was my only concern. Their air-conditioning system needs to be replaced because it looks like it's been bumped a few too many times. They had an interesting menu, and it looked good. I didn't get to eat.

We did a virtual tour and an in-person tour to The Waterford on Huebner. It went very well. The people there were very informative and the room that I looked at, the person had just left, and they were going to put new carpet and repaint and everything. So, I was glad that they weren't just going to clean the carpet, but actually remove it and put new carpet in there. We were looking at a studio room. For being a studio, the bathrooms were nice, big, and spacious. They had all the safety hardware there. The walk-in closet was large for such a small room. The dining room was nice. Everything seemed clean and organized. All the questions that I had for the sales director, she answered. I got to talk to the home health care person because we're going to be needing that as well. They were very informative, so I was very impressed. The room does have a little kitchenette, microwave, and refrigerator. There were cabinets above the refrigerator, so people can put their plates or whatever. There was room in there for a full sized bed, even in the studio. There was room for a little TV, cabinet, or a chair. We looked at the second floor. The second floor had a balcony, which was really exceptional because then you could just step outside and get some fresh air. It was nice.

The Waterford on Huebner has beauty and luxury. It's independent living. The person that toured with us, Dolores, was excellent and very impressive. The dining room was beautiful and big with plenty of room and had separate tables with tablecloths. It's very elegant and well-lit. They have a swimming pool, an exercise room, and a game room. The place felt homey.

I liked The Waterford on Huebner very well. It was very bright, very clean, and very welcoming. The only one I interacted with was the lady that I guess served in sales or marketing. She was very friendly, very knowledgeable. She felt very honest and straightforward. So, I liked her a lot. The meal that we had was fine. The food was good. They had a courtyard, a salon, and a small exercise area.

We visited The Waterford on Huebner and we liked that one. We like that the space is all open. When you look at the people, they look happy, they don't look unhappy, and they're all clean. So that means that they get good care there. They do a lot of different activities like movies, sometimes they celebrate something outside and you can see that there are different places where they can do activities. As far as we've seen there, the staffs were very helpful and very nice people. They offered for us to have a meal there but we didn't have the time. We saw a room, and one of the ladies was so nice that she let us see her room and it was very nice too. There was a garden and they have a place to walk like walking paths. We've visited other places that looked worn out, but this one was very well kept.

Everything was quite good at The Waterford on Huebner and we considered it pretty highly but we thought that the other one we also saw just offered a few better things. It was clean and nice, and the staff was good. It's all independent living and the staff that we met were friendly, knowledgeable, and quite available. Their furniture is good and conveniently located. It was easy to get to and it was within an area where you'd go pretty frequently so it's very conveniently located.

The Waterford on Huebner is a smaller community, and that's what my mom was looking for. It is nice, pleasant looking, clean, and they have a nice dining room with a fancy staircase. We had two different times we got to eat there, and it was good both times. The staff is just as kind and nice as can be. They're very, very caring, very friendly and made my mom feel welcome. She has not done any activities yet because we've been busy moving her in, but I know they played bingo today. They also have other activities like field trips, puzzles, and they have a library that they can go to.

The Waterford on Huebner, I would say, is really for someone that needs assisted living. Those beyond capable of taking care of themselves. It's not independent, for me, even though it may seem that way. They need 24-hour staff there and that type of thing and the residents were much more elderly. You can just see that they need that assistance. I think that's more of an assisted living than anything else even though technically, it is independent living. My dad didn't even want to finish the tour. I just felt like he may feel like, "This wasn't for me. I'm not that old. I don't need to be in a wheelchair. I'm not that slow", that type of thing. It is an older version of a community, but still very nice. I just think they need to modernize a little bit more. The pull-cord is something my father is used to because it's that type of old type of process for an emergency. I think it needs to be more modern like a button or something. It looks like it was an 80's type of thing. The interaction I had was really just with the director who runs it, and she was lovely and was engaging with my father. I think they could use a lot of their money and modernize what the residents are paying.

We toured The Waterford on Huebner, and we had some food in this community. We had a delicious salad, it had cranberries, with walnuts or peanuts, and chicken, it was delicious. They were very warm, and I remember one of the activities. They had a big get-together for Cinco de Mayo. They had Mexican food, with different kinds of dips and cookies. They had Mexican music, they had a whole room decorated, they were able to spend some time there and listen to some Mexican music. They may even have played Mexican Loteria, and it was nice. It's an older community, people have been living there for a while. I don't know how old the community is, but it's very well-kept and very well painted. The walls are in good shape, the floors are in good shape. They're very clean, I wouldn't say that it's a luxurious ambiance, but it is very appealing. I wouldn't mind moving there once we get to that stage.

The Waterford on Huebner was really nice. I really liked it because a lot of the seniors were talking to each other. They weren't just in their rooms or in their apartments. They were in the front of a foyer, and a lot of them were just sitting out talking. I liked the fact that it wasn't so big. At first, I didn't think I was going to like it because of the way the kitchen is set up. It's like a kitchenette, but mom doesn't cook that much anymore, so it doesn't matter. She can eat in the dining room, and if I want to take her out when COVID is over, I can take her out to eat. There are prepared meals that she can get and put in the microwave, and all those are good, so I liked it. This is independent living, and she has some dementia, but there are extra things that I could pay for on the side, like a nurse there who I could pay monthly. She might still feel like she has some independence but also still have some supervision, so I kind of thought it was good. I was a little thrown off by the kitchen, but I love the one-bedroom floor plan. Sometimes, I wish it had just a little more in the kitchen, but that's OK. It's very nice. The staff was helpful and encouraging. They had a laundry area. What's strange is the upstairs; there are a lot of people probably who can't really get up there. Some of the things are on the upper levels where you have to use the stairs, but it's really nice.

My family and I have greatly appreciated the care of the staff at the Waterford during my grandmothers' move there. The patience and special attention they've shown in helping her to adjust is truly priceless to us as it assures us that they will continue to treat her like family and look out for her best interests. Delores has always made herself available when we have questions or concerns, which is a great comfort to us. We also appreciate the efforts of all of the staff to diligently care for the residents and keep them safe and healthy during the recent COVID outbreak. Keep up the great work!

Top notch customer service. My grandmother currently lives there and absolutely loves it there! She says she doesn’t want to go anywhere else because she loves how the employees treat her. They really go above and beyond! Her room is spacious and the view from her room is pretty with all of the plants and flowers that the property keeps very well maintained. My grandmother also really likes how they accommodate to her meal preferences and how good everything tastes.

The Waterford on Heubner was recommended by a friend. Beautiful property. When I walked in, I was impressed by the really nice, airy and bright environment! The Sales Director, Delores is awesome! But most importantly, genuine. I would be extremely happy living there. It’s welcoming, clean, safe and the staff are so very nice and sweet. I have been to other Senior Facilities over the years and when I walked in the door and spoke with the staff and toured the facility with Delores and spent time with her, I knew this was the place for my Mother! Thank you Lord for guiding me there. My Mother loves it and always comments about how nice everyone is. The staff and the residents.

I moved my parents to the Waterford this summer. My parents have been very happy with their apartment and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff. The Waterford is a small community and has a family feeling. The staff know all of the residents by name. I was impressed how hard they all worked to make this move a possibility. I will always be so grateful for their compassion and professionalism.

The Waterford on Huebner was a very small community. The two staff members I saw seemed caring, concerned, and accommodating. The library, the efficiency apartments, and the property itself were small, and the kitchenette was very lacking. The facility was clean. Right when you walk in the front door you immediately walk into the dining room, which is average in size. The offices are adjeacent to it and there's no wall dividing the offices from the dining room. There weren't very many activities, but they provide transportation to Bear County. It was a very quiet place. It's next to a good public transportation stop and it's gated.

We really love The Waterford on Huebner. The staff is great and seems very caring. Mom's making friends with some of the residents, so it's really nice. There are some hits and misses, but for the most part, my mom likes the food. The dining room is really nice, open, has plenty of room, and the staff that serves them are great. They offer different activities and transportation to any appointment and different outings. They have a nice library, a little movie room, and activities during the day that people can go to or not, so it’s really nice. You can do your own laundry there since they have laundry facilities on each floor, or you can pay someone to do it for you for about $30 a month. We're really happy with it and so is my mom.

Our visit to the Waterford was great. It's gated, newer, and well cared for. I liked the facility, but it was out of Dad's price range. It's a very well-kept place, and they have very clean one-bedroom apartments and efficiency. They put in new carpeting and paint when someone moves out. They have three meals a day and a bus to take people to different stores.

I visited The Waterford on Huebner. It was a little bit more elite than the other community, but they were both very nice and very well kept. I was very satisfied with both facilities. At The Waterford on Huebner, I was impressed with the fact that on each one of the rooms, there was always a view to the outside, and they had balconies. I was also impressed with the fact that they had a theater where they had movie nights. Even though they had movie nights at the other community, at Huebner, it was larger with seating areas. The staff said they both offer the same things, but I got kind of a different feel from the Huebner than I did from the other community, but they were both very nice. The grounds were well kept. It was daytime when I was to Waterford on Huebner, and based on what I could see from the outside, there is plenty of lighting, which is always good. The staff members were all very nice and informative with lots of information with the facility and the residents, so I thought that was good. You’re not just a number. Also they have lots of curriculum and outings that they provide transportation for, so is the other one, but they listed more things that they present they had for the tenants to do other than shopping and doctor’s visits. I was impressed with that. And if it was something that some of the tenants were interested in that was not on their list, they took it under consideration, went back to the staff that make the decision, and figured out a way to work it in, so I thought that was excellent.

The Waterford on Huebner was quite nice. People there seemed very active. I saw games and people in groups. I thought it was a little higher on price than the space we got. The Waterford focused only on independent living with no options to move past that if that was needed. It was a nice place.

My mom decided she needed to move closer to me so after 67 years in the same house we were looking for an assisted living community. I used Caring.com and Christina E. took what I was looking for in the location I wanted and gave me 5 to visit. I visited them all. I ate at them and met with the patrons. I found the Waterford on Huebner and it had all the things I thought my mom would like. I put her on the list without her even seeing it. She has now moved in and is very happy. This was a big transition but it was seamless with Christina's help. Thank you caring.com for the great help in directing me to all the right communities.

I had a very brief experience at The Waterford on Huebner. During my visit there, I saw that it was a nice community. It had a 10-foot-high ceilings, which made the rooms appear spacious. Each room had a large walk-in closet. I did not eat there, but I saw that they had a wonderful dining room. I noticed that they also had two-hour door checks. Obviously, they checked on the residents very regularly, which impressed me.

The Waterford was too much like an assisted living place. It reminded me of a nursing home, but we're looking for independent living. The staff was friendly but did not let us talk to the residents. The rooms were very small.

The Waterford on Huebner is a great place. My mom has just been complaining about the food. Evidently, they have some kitchen problems, but other than that, it's OK. We moved her in on July 1st, and they all seem to be very helpful and caring. I have eaten there one time, and I thought it was fine, but my mom and several of her friends complain about it there. They recently had some changes with who's in charge with the cooking. She's participated in a few things, and she got the large one-bedroom unit, which is very nice with a nice large bathroom. I would recommend them, but they should improve on the food. They use all frozen products, and there isn't much variety, and sometimes it's even hard to tell what you're getting. They don't use very many spices -- everything is just really bland.

My second choice would have been The Waterford. It feels like a large apartment complex. The apartments are smaller; their food is not quite as good. It’s newer, it’s nice, and I like the amenities.

We have been living at The Waterford on Huebner for about five months now, and we're pretty satisfied in this facility. The staff were a little above average. They have a one and a two-bedroom apartment. We are in a two bedroom, and it’s very nice. We have a lady that comes in and cleans once a week. The food is also a little above average. We have different things to do like bingo, checkers, and scrabble.

We are in an independent living community called The Waterford. We get three meals a day. There are activities that we like. They have an exercise room, and there is bingo. There are other activities, but we haven't been here long enough. The food is excellent. It is very good. We can order anything. The staff is very good. They are very polite. We are in a two-bedroom. It is fairly large. It is two bedrooms and one bathroom. We have a balcony completely around our apartment. We have windows in every room, including the bedrooms. Once a week, a woman comes in and sweeps, changes the sheets, takes the laundry, etc. We have very good service here. Everything is very good. This place is more homey because it is not quite as congested.

I visited Waterford briefly. We went into a room that was vacant. It was about the same square footage as some of the other places, but it was adequate in terms of square feet and closet space. The staff is very friendly. The place is very clean and it smelled good, so obviously it was not a Medicaid nursing home. The dining area was adequate and well presented, but it didn't really stand out. I think, comparing prices, Waterford was on the lower end of several I visited. It's not really upscale.

I had a very good experience at The Waterford on Huebner. It is a very nice place, more joyful and more charming, and I got a good impression of the people, they are very kind. I like the buildings and the view.

I was a resident at The Waterford on Huebner. The lobby was very nice. It had pretty decors and you can sit there and talk with the other residents. The dining hall had chandeliers. However, it didn't have grounds where you can take walks. You can just walk around the building. I also stayed in an efficiency apartment. It was nice but not spacious. It didn't have a kitchen. They have meals supplied to you and you just have a little microwave in your room. The reason I left this facility was because I didn't get to go out as much. I'm in a wheelchair most of the time but their shuttle bus doesn't have a lift for wheelchairs, so I'm usually stuck in the place. I can only go out when my daughter visits me.

The reasons I chose Waterford is because of the social activities and location. The staff is attentive and friendly. My mother is in the smallest studio, it is very clean. They have games, movies and musical presentations. They also provide transportation for off site activities like the theaters, symphony and restaurants. I have also tried the food, it is very good and my mother likes it.

The exterior of the facility is very welcoming. It's set up to look like an upscale/southern style apartment complex. The landscaping is well kept and colorful. Upon entering this facility you will walk into a large dining/living common area. The dining room is very large with a tall ceiling and seemed spotless. It was a cheery yellow/beige color. The residents all seemed very happy and were all being seating in the dining area. It's a restaurant style atmosphere as there is a wait staff to take order from the daily options available. There is a fitness area, a reading room with newspapers/magazines available. There are various seating areas as you walk thru the facility. The rooms are about the size of a hotel room and there is a sink/fridge/microwaive. Each room is temperature controlled by each resident. There is a monthly calender posted in several locations listing the activities that are available for the residents to participate in, (ie bingo, crafting, sing alongs, etc)

The facility was excellent. Everything was clean and the residents had everything they needed. The residents were happy and as healthy as could be expected. My only complaint was that the staff was a bit difficult to communicate with. Most of the nurses and aids seemed tired and frustrated.
