Terrible at responding to button when pressed. I ask for my mother’s pain medicine and it took them 2 hours to get it to her. She just got back from dialysis and is waiting to get her food heated up and still no one has come in. I would not recommend this place.

My family member is here and the social worker and administration has cut off my family’s communication with him when we started asking questions about his care even though my brother has signed written consent giving permission for them to talk to us. They blocked our phone numbers so we cannot call him directly. Please do not place your family here.

I would not recommend Madison Medical Resort. I filed a grievance with Foursquare Health Care on my mom's behalf based on her time spent on the rehab wing. During her stay nurses questioned her about the doctor's orders for her medication, pain meds were denied because nurse read the computer incorrectly which resulted in spiked blood pressure and excessive pain....cost her a day of therapy, roommate told her she gave 5 workers $20 in tips as well as offered candy cokes and doughnuts that they accepted, workers then retaliated against mom when said roommate became disgruntled with her. Diabetic menu not offered and blood sugar not monitored after first week. Transportation to dr visit was horrible. Van a total mess filled with trash, mom wasn't buckled in and had to hold on to Walker. Transportation to facility from hospital was 3 hours late. Wound care specialist was very rough and aggressive. Placed originally in room with a patient who had thrown a banana at the person in there before.
The rehap techs were wonderful....a few day nurses professional

My dad was at Madison. I have friends who worked there. The staff was great. My dad liked it there. They had bingo and parties, and families were invited to visit anytime. Madison is more upscale than any of the other places around here because it is brand new and feels more like a hotel.

At the time, my sister-in-law needed a facility for her physical therapy, so we looked at Madison for assisted living. I was really impressed with them. It had the nursing home in one side and the facilities in the other. Madison was a beautiful, very clean, very nice facility, and they had workout equipment, too. It was just a really great-looking place. They had a gazebo outside and a pretty area where you could go outside and get fresh air. They were just top-notch. The girl that we talked to gave us a tour, but she was not typically the one to show people around to help you understand, so she was limited in what she could tell us. Everything was sparkling clean, their cafeteria was great, and their workout center was wonderful. What is really outstanding about Madison are the bedrooms. They had house furniture even for the patients who were bedridden and had to have rehabilitation. It made you feel like you were at home. It was really warm, welcoming and inviting in their rooms. The dining room was beautiful, very well-kept, very clean, and looked new. If I were going to stay in in a facility, I would probably choose this one if I could. I feel like it was a really good place. The patients we passed seemed very happy and taken care of well.
