My grandma was here about six months ago, not only was the staff helpful and friendly, the residents was just as welcoming. The facility is like a family, and great food. I have family that works at other nursing facilities in the Houston area as nurses and they was very complimentary about the facility being very clean and for the staff providing great care. It's not a new facility but we'll taken care of. Always clean and smells good. They have daily activitys and church services. Mexia Long Term care has a beauty shop that offers fill services.

this home is nothing like the pictures they use to advertise it. I am there every week and it smells as well as the food they feed those people is barely edible. The patients can't get consistent care and many times sit in their own urine or bowel movement for long periods of a time until they become raw. there has been instances where I've felt like calling the state board on the lack of care the patients get. I would not put my dog there and it pains me deeply to see my friend so neglected there.
