I have moved into Ridgemont Village Marble Falls. It's not a big apartment building. There are individual little cottages with an actual garage, and that's one level. I didn't have to move furniture or cart groceries up to a fourth floor. It just had a nice feel to it. I wanted a small town, I didn't want a big city. It isn't an individual cottage, they are Triplexes. There's three of them grouped together, but they are grouped together in a little cul de sac, so it doesn't look like row houses. It's landscaped well and just looks really nice. So far, I've only met the property manager. I haven't met the person yet, but the property manager was about as helpful as they come. I don't do much cooking; I eat frozen things and I go out. There is no food. I would say 90 percent of the residents are widows or single women, and most of them over 55. So, they have kind of a camaraderie here that is really nice. They get together for coffee just about every morning. They have prayer meetings together. They have canasta and card games, and the men have their own card nights. They have potluck dinners, but most of the activities are usually resident driven instead of activities director driven. The landscape is beautiful on the outside, but the insides are gated, and they haven't been upgraded in a while. It met all of the needs that I have, and the other things that I overlooked. In terms of the value for the money, compared to everybody else, I give that the highest rating.
