Mycomplaint is against the Business Officer at Baywood Crossing Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. She was very rude to me and my wife on the phone. She said I revoked the power of attorney for my mother and it was my mother who revoked it. She refused to hear otherwise, and was very unsympathetic. After she was provided the correct information, she refused to apologize. Her tone of voice was accusatory and harsh. In our time of grief she was very rude, uncaring and unprofessional. My mother was a resident there and past away 2 days prior to our conversation with her.

I went to Baywood Crossing Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. I made an appointment with them and they didn't write it down. There was no one to give me a comprehensive tour, they were supposed to find some information for me, I never heard back from them. I didn't see a lot of activity there. Their activities director seemed very, very nice, but my husband can't participate in those things. The maintenance appeared to be good. The facility seemed like it's in good repair, and it certainly appeared to be clean. I think they have no private rooms available. They have one nurse's station that responds to all of the halls.

I love the staff. They have proved repeatedly that they genuinely care about the residents. Rooms are a bit cramped for visiting. Mom complains of mediocre food, I think this is a universal truth of all homes.

I want to thank you for caring and being so strong during this horrible time. I trust you to take care of my loved one. I was honestly surprised when I was allowed to visit how clean everything was and how wonderful all the people that lived there looked. I heard music and laughter as I walked the hall to a long anticipated reunion. Hats off

My bedridden total care mom was neglected and NOT taken care of by staff or nurses. Communication with management was Dismal and minimal; did not reflect heath concerns on developing bedsores obtained under their care because they did not change or turn her every 2 hours. Did not observe breathing difficulties after aspiration from vomiting. Fed too much formula into peg tube and vomited. Family meeting reports were communicated on health condition by social worker that knew nothing about my mom’s health and rattled off a list of inapplicable or incorrect data...instead of a qualified, knowledgeable nurse or dr . Basic hygiene not done or ears not cleaned, eyes not wiped, tongue or mouth care was not performed. Did not adhere to long time private doctor’s prescribed regiment and randomly changed orders to minimal care regimen. Rooms are tiny.

The facility is very clean and the staff are super friendly. The Administrative team goes out of their way to take care of the residents and any issues of concern.
