About This Community

Grace House Priorities Offer More Value

We are committed to creating an environment for seniors filled with love, peace, and contentment while providing a superior level of service. This level of service is achieved by maintaining an industry-high staff-to-resident ratio. And as a result, we are able to provide each resident with the highest possible quality of life within their individual limitations.

For those seniors and their loved-ones who expect excellence in every aspect of their care, Grace House delivers.

We encourage our residents to enjoy our social spaces. These are designed for comfort while allowing our caregivers to better observe and interact with residents throughout the day. By virtue of this interaction, we can accurately assess our residents for changes in their physical, mental and/or social condition. We are then able to communicate this information accurately to families, home-health and hospice nurses, and physicians.

I was honored to be at this ALF over this last weekend as a Hospice Nurse. I can not thank the staff enough for the amazing loving care each of them showed my patients and their families. The wonderful staff went over and beyond to make sure as our patient took their final journey home that they were comfortable, well takn care of and their loved ones got special attention also. Not only did I watch the staff with those I care for as an equal partner to this ALF, I watched as they interacted with the other residents and families. I have been in more communities than I can count and Grace House truly stands out as exceptional personal care. Each resident had smiles, the food looked and smelt delicious and everyone was just over all happy and content. I look very much forward to visiting this AFL again and - THANK YOU for taking such outstanding care of our patients!

This facility did not care for my mother properly. They allowed her to constantly fall and would not monitor her properly especially late in the evenings. We eventually had to move her.

We visited the Grace House of Lake Travis assisted living facility while in Austin. My brother and I were looking for a place for our uncle to live. Since my brother lives in the region, we decided to check out some options in the region. Our uncle really likes Austin and everything it has to offer. The weather is warmer, which he likes. The outer grounds were very well kept. The staff seemed very friendly and warm. The interior rooms were all immaculate. Each communal room had a different function and activity, which was nice. There was plenty of space so that it didn't seem cramped at all. The living quarters were spacious as well -- with richly decorated rooms that had been personalized. Many of the residents use their own furniture. We were glad to hear that, since our uncle has many cherished pieces of his own. The Austin community has a vibrant music and art center -- of which our uncle will be able to stay in touch with, which is nice. Residents regularly go out on the town to see the many art exhibits, visit the library and participate in the cultural goings-on. The dining room features five-star cuisine that is healthy, delicious, fresh and nutritious. The snacks they offered also seemed very appetizing and are offered all day or as residents desire them. The programs they offer range from outdoor and indoor exercise, to arts and crafts. The residents all seemed to be enjoying the many interesting things there are to do here and the staff was kind and caring in assisting anyone who needed help. The residents who desire them can also attend church where they wish and church staff often visit. The adjacent hills of the West Austin region make a convenient place for outings, as well. Our uncle enjoys all of the beautiful architecture and greenery there. A very nice, well-tended home for elders to live in.
