My dad is Stonegate Nursing Center. It's nice. We have been pleasantly surprised. He had been in quarantine for 10 or 12 days, so he was kind of separated from everybody else, and we just got him moved to an actual room a couple of days ago. They have like a place to get your hair done, and they put all the people in a big in the living room where they watch TV, and they can eat there if they want to. They also have bingo and stuff like that. Some of the foods weren't that bad. It looked pretty good. Everybody that I've dealt with was nice. Sometimes they were busy, but they did what they were supposed to do, and everybody was very pleasant. I like them so far. The staff has been very good.

My mom is in a skilled nursing facility. She is going to stay there for awhile. She is at Stonegate Nursing Center. She is doing well. The people are nice. I don't have any complaints from what I can tell. The staff seems fine. When I talked to them, they all seemed nice, and they all seemed like they care. My mom seems like she's happy. She said the food is just OK, so that means it's not fantastic. It's just OK, and that's all she said about the food.

This was a great place for me while getting ready for my next surgery. My nurses and aides were very helpful. I would come back if needed.

Simple.... No patient care at ALL. Cold food my mom gets almost everytime. Medication not given properly or at the time it should be given. This is only happening on the side my mom is at.

Rooms are sufficient in size. We were initially told that we would have a private room, for two days we did not but as soon as possible that was corrected. Met many people in a short amount of time nurses, therapist and even facility Administrator. The DON is very apparent throughout the facility and involved in direct patient care/interaction. I have been in my share of nursing facilities as I am a former LTC nurse and I definitely feel Stonegate ranks right at the top of the list. I have and will recommend to anyone looking to place a loved one that needs nursing or rehab.

My grandma was just transferred from Baylor hospital to here for rehab of her distal femur. There are a few staff that actually care. I keep hearing excuses. No one wants to do what's right. My grandma is diabetic. We keep having meals that no diabetic should eat. Would you give sugar to a diabetic. They do here.

This was once a very good facility when privately owned. It was acquired by a company and went downhill quickly. The staff to patient ratio went down about 30%. The cleanliness went downhill and it was disgusting. No attention to cleaning wheelchairs and had to ask to have accidents cleaned up from carpeting. My friend was left in his room all day with no socialization, even for meals. When visiting the facility the staff would try to avoid interaction because they already were so much over-worked. They lost medical records of hospital visits. The facility is falling apart and they put temporary air conditioners in the hall in the summer that don't work. The place smells of mildew. As most of the long-term employees left, the turnover was so fast that it made your head spin. Many of these employees are well meaning individuals but they are simply too stretched to provide adequate care. We eventually moved our loved one to another facility.

It was becoming more and more clear that we needed to move my wife, who was living in a nursing facility in another state, to Fort Worth to be closer to family. Our daughter met with the Admissions Rep and concluded that THIS WAS THE PLACE. We made the move two plus years ago and have found the Stonegate care far superior to what she had before moving. Since that time, there have been upgrades some of which are paper records to computerization, renovation, new furniture, etc., all under the capable management of the Administrator. Our experience has been quite positive with excellent nursing care, doctor's visit once month (or more often if needed), cleanliness, regular showers, entertainment and helpful activities, nutritious and tasty meals with polite and caring staff. Also worth noting is that numerous family members have returned to be volunteers after their loved ones have either gone home at the completion of therapy or passed on. For me, this says much about the facility/staff in that residents and family members become personal friends with the staff. In my opinion, Stonegate is indeed a 5-star facility

My 99-year-old mother has lived at Stonegate for 11 months. She passed away last night. From the first moment to the last, the doctors, nurses, social worker, staff and aides have treated her with courtesy, skill, friendship and extreme attention to the details of her care. At every transition, they were aware and modified their care. I highly recommend Stonegate.

My wife is getting good service at Stonegate Nursing Center. I'm satisfied with what she's receiving. They've done pretty well with her even though she's resistant and difficult to treat sometimes. They come back, try and give her medication, and she takes it. She's kept clean and safe and given her meals. The place is clean. I'll give it a high recommendation. In general, the staff is helpful, caring, and interact with my wife. The food seems to be quite good. They have a big lounge with TV and a good physical therapy program.

My aunt lived at Stonegate Nursing Home for 2 years. She had dementia and also could not walk. Everyone there treated her as if she was family and took wonderful care of her. Whenever she had any problems, they would call right away. We never worried about her well being due to the professionalism of the staff. I would highly recommend this facility

My mother was at Stonegate Nursing Center for 6 years. It's absolutely top notch. The place was spotless and never had a smell. Mother was very well cared for and very courteously treated. They had rehab there, and the food was excellent. Her needs were all met. If I needed skilled nursing, I would want to be there. It?s probably the best in Fort Worth of all the different places. When we decided to put mother there or were thinking about it, we called the State of Texas and my daughter asked them for complaints. She gave them 2 or 3 different places. They said Stonegate had none. The others had so many they could not fax them. They would have to mail them, and that said it all.

Stonegate Nursing Center was a good nursing home. They had good caretakers, good nursing and great administration. I had no complaints about it. They had a long history of great administration, and these administrators were the owners. They had excellent physicians and caring nursing staff. The cafeteria produced pretty good food, but it could be a little bit better. My resident was on a pureed diet at the time she was there. She was really sick when she first came there, and they got her better. They had good rehabilitation and very caring people there. I don't have any problem with this facility. It was very expensive though and she didn't need everything they were doing for her, but I would give the aides a 10. They were extremely conscientious as was nursing. She was in a shared room, and they paired her up very appropriately. She was able to ambulate and go to the bathroom by herself, but she needed assistance getting dressed and undressed, and she needed assistance bathing. The only complaint I have is they did not exhaust the 100 days that she was entitled to on Medicare. They refused to give her more care under Medicare and they discharged her even though her physician ordered more therapy. They had a lot of activities, but my resident didn't care to participate in them. They also would come and get her and take her to church.

I'm giving Stonegate Nursing Center in Ft Worth two stars which are for the nursing and care staff, who really deserve five. The office staff deserve negative stars, which is what brings it down so far. From admitting to billing, they were condesending and almost completely rude. The director was dismissive of my concerns about therapy. Therapy, with one exception, appeared lazy. My mother, unfortunately, was having her heaing aids repaired when she needed to be in the center, the PTA told me she could hear her, when Mom has a profound hearing loss. That's just an example of the many problems I encounterred there.

I went to Stongate to rehab from a total knee replacement. This was my second time there. Once again I found the facility to be absolutely clean,smells good and they have 50 or moe bouquets of flowers delivered everyday for resident rooms and the main dining room. The rehab personnel proved to be top notch, concerned and very professional. The best part was the nursing staff as they demonstrated a great concern for my care. There were issues and in each case the issues were quickly resolved to my satisfaction. The owners were officer ther daily and our exceptional as is the Nursing Director. No fun to be in rehab. I was not at my best but this facility and their staff were at their best.

Stonegate Nursing Center was clean and the staff were caring and wonderful. They kept us informed on everything about my uncle. They also kept us informed of his medical condition and what to expect because of the dementia. He had a wonderful nurse. When it was time, they recommended hospice and it was the perfect time. It was a wonderful facility.

This is just a wonderful quality facility. My mother had been in another nursing home for 1 week and it was just horrible...like you would think a nursing home would be. I took her out and put in Stonegate nursing home because of recommendations from the hospice company we used. They had 18 patients in this nursing home and said that if they had to go to a nursing home this is the one that they would choose. The staff is absolutely wonderful to the patients. I never worried about the care my mother was getting. She was in the special care unit where she got exceptional care. The owner is on site and is extremely caring.....not there just to make money.

My mother lived in the special care unit at Stonegate Nursing Center in Fort Worth, Texas for 9 years as an alzheimer's patient. She had lived in other nursing homes in Hobbs, New Mexico and Fort Worth but Stonegate was by far the best place. The professional caregivers at Stonegate took good care of her. The most important aspect in their environment is that they really care about their residents. I am including everyone from management , nursing, CNAs, food, and laundry services. Some of them became more like family and many came by to pay their respects in the last few hours before her passing away.
