• We provide staff ongoing training on Alzheimer’s and dementia.
• This is the primary focus of their continuing education once they’re hired. Our staff members are experienced—they’re used to seeing common behaviors of those with memory loss and they know the best and most compassionate way to deal with those behaviors. They’re also up to date on the latest techniques for stimulating memory and cognitive function.

We tailor our care to the needs of our seniors with memory loss. At New Haven, our resident’s health and physical comfort is our priority every single day. Our care team consists of highly trained compassionate caregivers and two Licensed Vocational Nurses who are available 24/7. Our intimate communities allow us to provide services that are tailored to meet each residents’ daily needs with the ability to age and place.

We offer a flexible dining program and bistro offering healthy snack options. Our dining program offers flexibility to meet special diets and preferences whether you choose something from our daily Chef special or always available menu (remove comfort food items). Traditional home-cooked meals prepared by our Chef are served three times a day in our centrally located dining room. Our seasonal menu offers a variety of freshly prepared options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Residents can also enjoy fresh tailor-made smoothies daily at our own Café Fresco bistro, along with healthy snack options.
