It was very nice and very warm. They have areas for the senior citizens, and they seemed like they were happy there. I asked a couple of people, and this one chap has been there for four years, and he said he liked it. His kids can come and get him and take him places and then bring him back. It was nice. They have a chef who used to work at some restaurant that was highly recommended, and now he's a chef with them. The staff who accommodated me was very nice. She showed me the facility. She called me several times after I've been there, and she wanted to know what our update was. They were willing to take my uncle right away. They had a spot for him, but it ended up that he had to stay in the hospital longer. The rooms were nice. You can decorate and bring your own stuff in if you wanted to. They had a huge walk-in shower. They had different rooms. One bedroom was smaller than the other one, and then, of course, they had a double room for two people. The facility itself was very clean, and it smelled good, and that was the thing I was worried about how some of the places smell bad. My uncle was a gardener, and he loves gardens. And the staff said they have an activity director and they did that sort of thing. They had like a little courtyard out there and they could go out and plant plants. They had a room that was kind of set up for men. The one-man that I talked to, said he was going in there because they all could talk about people or whatever it was. They had dominoes, and they had games that they could play. My uncle used to play dominoes and cards. The dining area was right next to the living area, and I liked it because the staff said you could either eat in their room or they could come out, and they had tables and they had things fixed nice for some residents that were there. The one thing that I was intrigued is they had shadow boxes out by the rooms, and they had all had things about them that they had in those shadow boxes like the things that they enjoy, their hobbies, and their family pictures, so it's kind of more inviting like that. I only met one staff and she was very nice.

I went here. I liked the openness, and the activities director had more things going on. It seemed like there was just a little bit more going on, a little bit more open, and my mom's a social butterfly. So I think that would have been like one of the top picks. They had a patio, they had an outside place where they gardened, a big dining room, big hallways, staff was equal to probably the best staff, the staff was really upbeat, and taking care of everybody.

I visited here. It was very clean and nice, and they had a lot of activities. They had a courtyard outside, and they were actually decorating a Christmas tree in the courtyard when I was there. They serve three meals a day, and, I believe, two snacks. For diabetics, they have an extra snack per day in the evening. They were able to answer all of my questions.
