My mother was at the facility for over 2 1/2 years and I felt that she received exceptional care. This facility is for clients that need full-time care. There are a maximum of about 12 residents, so each resident receives very personalized care. There is a high staff to resident ratio. Residents are in constant site or hearing of staff. Staff is very caring; most have been there for a long time. Staff seems to be constantly cleaning the facility, so it is very clean. Food is prepared to meet the needs of each individual resident. Rooms are neat, clean, and comfortable though residents are encouraged to spend most of the time in the community room to promote interaction. Management is very communicative and provides accurate information. For the services provided, the cost is very reasonable.

Houston Extended Care was a sweet home. It was clean. The staff was friendly. I thought they had nice interaction. I know that was important to me, may not be for some people.
