My mother is staying at Crimson Heights Health & Wellness. For the most part, it is a nice facility. It's fairly new, so it's clean. The rooms are spacious for the most part. The assistants are a little slow to respond. It was a rough transition that wasn't something she wanted to do or where she wanted to be. She was a quarantined for two weeks. You receive better service on the day shift; the night shift was a little slow to respond. Some of the staff were not as friendly or helpful. The food is nasty. She doesn't like the food, but it's a clean facility. I think it was just part of what she had to get used to: having to wait for assistance. I think they could work on their customer service and the response time; the training, maybe adding additional staff as far as nursing assistants or assistants to help with the patients. We were told when we first got there that they were short staffed; but when we talked to upper management, they say they weren't. They were using or taking supplies from my mother to use for other patients. It was a lot going on. I think for the most part, they just really need to work on this staff. They need to retrain their staff and make sure that they understand that the patients are the priority. The cleanliness is fine. Housekeeping cleans up the room, so that's great. I only get a phone call when they need something, to tell me about the progress, or an update. I saw a spa or a hair salon. You have to pay out of pocket for that. It's extra. I haven't seen it utilized, so I'm not quite sure how that works.

God please forgive me for allowing our loved one to be put in this poorly managed facility. Staff is horrible, nurses never return calls. The main phone number just rings and rings. Due to Covid 19, we were not allowed inside so they pretty much ignored us and did what they wanted. Our loved one passed away in his room after only being there a few days. If you truly love and care for your family member research better as this is not the place. All I can say is if we would have been able to get inside, I would have removed him from this place. Very poor care, zero communication. Management of this facility needs to review what is going on.

The rooms are spacious and have roll in showers within the room for private and safe showers. The nursing when you can find them are OK. Don't try to call up there because they will hang up or disconnect you constantly. There large TV located through out the facility that could be used but are not. Very limited activities. 2 Salons rarely used, multiple dinning and living room areas available. Care is to be desired. Call lights take an hour or more to get a response just to see why it's on. If sick no concern about you or a emesis bags or containers don't exist your lap and floor or bed. Land line phone just put in. Don't try calling up there because you get disconnected constantly and no call backs. Facility is new and clean. Looks beautiful but care is horrible.

My mother is in Crimson Heights Health & Wellness. It's very nice and brand new. The nurses and the nurse's aides are very nice to her and taking very good care of her. They accept Medicaid, which was a big factor. The rooms are spacious and have good storage. They have two big physical therapy gyms on-site.
