The Forum At Memorial Woods feels like every person who works there really sincerely cares about our family. It's not the most beautiful place, but it certainly is the most homey. It feels really good there. All of the staff members are good and I've seen people go out of their way to be kind. They go a long way not only to help the person in rehab, but to help the family as well. We've been able to provide a lot of ancillary care because they have instructed us and we're able to give my dad full time rehab. The food is excellent and their activities are really good. My dad is enjoying meeting all of the people. They have very skilled physical, occupational, and cognitive therapists. All of their therapists are very well qualified in making it challenging yet safe and enjoyable for my father. He never complains and does exactly what the therapists say. He believes in in the therapy, even if at the end of the day he's tired. For the actual rehab part of it, it's five stars. Kevin is the director of all the therapists and he is excellent. Where the place is weak is that they don't have nearly enough CNAs or assistants, so what happens is sometimes there's a 20-minute wait if my dad needs to go to the bathroom. They're very lovely people and it's not that they're ignoring us, it's just that they're understaffed.

My friend is at The Forum. The place is okay for assisted living and independent, but not for skilled nursing. They just don't have qualified workers in the skilled nursing area. They were not they when they were needed. They need to check that place because some of them were sleeping on their shift. I think the skilled nursing care in this facility is terrible. He got to a point where he is not able to turn himself and he should be turned every two hours to keep his skin from breakdown and that was not done. The facility is also expensive.

The home is extremely nice and beautiful. It does not have the feel of a nursing/retirement home, and feels very exclusive and high end. It has numerous amenities including swimming pools, a chapel, beauty/barber shop, fitness gym and much more. I mean i honestly wouldnt mind living there when my time comes. Furthermore the fact that it includes a emergency services that are less than 3 miles away is stellar in perspective especially for sickly mother who has already experienced a heart attack. The only down side is it's over the top price of $3,064 minimum a month. But im completely willing to spend any amount of money necesarry for my mother. But for the workers, they are very friendly, attentive, and very meticulous in their work. I would feel safe and secure in living my mother in their hands. If you have the money to be able to afford this home I certainly would recommend it. You wouldn't be disappointed.
