Golden Palms Nursing Home, was a nice facility that I got the opportunity to visit. I got to visit Golden Palms on several different occasions. First time was when I did my clinical rotations for my CNA program. Then again to visit a resident I had met while doing my clinical rotations. Last time I visited was when I went Christmas Caroling with my high school choir The residents seemed to be content with their surroundings as well as with the staff. The rooms were alright. They are about the same size of regular hospital rooms. I did not get to see the rooms upstairs where the other residents lived. I believe those are the assisted living apartments. The dining room is very lovely. The chandelier that is in the middle is beautiful. It really brings the whole room together. The lobby is very nice as well. Overall everything was very clean and organized. I wouldn't mind living there if I needed to.
