I liked Oaks 55. My mom liked it too. She still gets around pretty well and still wants to cook. This was more independent living so it was a better fit for her. We met the leasing agent and she was great. She was very informative and friendly. She took us on a tour and was very thorough. They have events throughout the month and activities for the residents, and that was appealing. Their floor plans were nice and they have elevators. The living atmosphere was comfortable too. Some one-bedrooms had a balcony, some did not, but all the two-bedrooms had a balcony. The one-bedroom did not have a bathtub, but the two-bedrooms had one.
